Week of the October Surprise Storm here. Just two days prior to the Billboard date! The 13th was the aftermath day. Heartland would take over #1 the following week, then Dierks, then Carrie (for a while), then Rascal Flatts, then Sugarland (first #1) to close out the year. :)

We were still cleaning up after the storm.

Let's see, 2007...Brad kicked off the year with "She's Everything", then Rodney Atkins with "Watching You" (for a while), then Trace...okay, I'll stop, lol.

Not to derail the thread further, but I lived in Lancaster and my street was closed for a week. Now, for a list of those singles hitting the top in 2007 (just kidding!).

Hey if there's a thread to go off-topic it's one that isn't technically a single, lol. I agree though, let's get back to talking about Luke's song "Games." :)

Breaking news: "Kick The Dust Up" will be released to iTunes in 2 weeks. I'm seeing it all over social media from Luke's fan-army.
I remember Carson Daly dropped a hint that Luke may show up on The Voice finale (coincidentally 2 weeks away). I'd love to see it get TV promo on the date of iTunes release. Hope it actually happens.

Let the Luke Bryan domination of country continue. I wonder if they will pull six singles off the upcoming CD like they did with Crash My Party. If that's the case, the next Bryan CD will not appear until 2017.

That's the only thing that will make me watch that show again until next season. With no country on it besides Blake it's not worth my time. (I still hold a grudge.) I can't wait to hear KTDU live!

More like RIP Heartland. One great single and poof...gone. Two actually. "Built To Last" was a great song as well. I also liked "Once A Woman Gets A Hold Of Your Heart".

Personally, I thought "Mustache" was Heartland's best single.

Pretty amazing that "Games" is now officially top 20 as an album track, but a few years ago, "We Rode In Trucks" couldn't even make the top 30 as a promoted single. I miss the old Luke Bryan – prior to Tailgates and Tanlines.

Lol. "Games" loses 161 spins and 1.3 million this morning. It seems that a lot of stations dropped it yesterday to make room for "Kick The Dust Up" instead.. That's exactly what I expected to happen, but I still can't help but roll my eyes.. KTDU is embarrassingly bad. "Games" is at least halfway decent.

Yeah "Games" is going to fall fast and fall hard over the next couple days. I think it has a chance be out of the top 50 on MB by May 31st (when it would go recurrent).
