Martina and Faith are two of the most immediately recognizable, successful, and well-known female country singers to come from the early '90s. But which of their debuts is the best album? Martina McBride The Time Has Come (1992) vs. Faith Hill Take Me As I Am (1993) Edit: I accidentally removed the poll while trying to add the overall album to the end of the poll, and had to remake it. So to the one person who had taken this poll before I came in and messed it up, you should resubmit your answers!!

Great poll, bboat11! 1. The Time Has Come v. Take Me As I Am2. That's Me v. Wild One3. True Blue Fool v. Just About Now 4. Losing You Feels Good v. Piece of My Heart5. Walk That Line v. I've Got This Friend 6. Cheap Whiskey v. Life's Too Short to Love Like That 7. I Can't Sleep v. But I Will 8. A Woman Knows v. Just Around the Eyes 9. The Rope v. Go the Distance10. When You Are Old v. I Would Be Stronger Than ThatOverall: The Time Has Come v. Take Me As I AmMost of these match-ups were pretty easy; the only close ones were #3 and #6. For the album overall, I gave the edge to Faith Hill.

I prefer Martina but Faith's debut is stronger than hers. Martina will shine on her following albums. Choosing #4 was hard. I love both Losing You Feels Good and Piece Of My Heart.
