^^ "Games" is racing up the charts based solely on unsolicited airplay; it's not an official release. "Kick The Dust Up" has just been confirmed to be the new single.

I don't like that cover. He's such an attractive guy, and that photo doesn't do him any justice.
Regardless, I'm sure I'll enjoy the album, just like I have all of his other records.

If I'm keeping it real here, I'm kinda disappointed w/ this album on first listen. It seems like it lacks super catchy melodies like so many songs had on Tailgates & Tanlines and Crash My Party. The only songs that I even remotely like aside from Kick the Dust Up (which is hands down the strongest on the album) and Strip it Down is the track with Karen Fairchild. Maybe it'll get better after a few listens, but there's not really that standout track for me that I could see myself putting on repeat like I did w/ Roller Coaster and Drunk on You.

Fast is a beautiful tribute to his wife. Wow.
Anyway, through my first listen, Fast is definitely the first WOW moment but I enjoy Strip It Down a lot too. Kill The Lights is that fun Luke that I love and Kick The Dust Up is kinda corny but I...don't hate it? Move reminds me of Country Girl sooo much (I mean, it's essentially the sequel) and I love that because it's better than any of the uptempos on Crash My Party even though I love those songs too. Love It Gone is up there for me too. Here is my ranking, at first listen.
1. Fast 2. Move 3. Love It Gone 4. To The Moon And Back 5. Strip It Down 6. Scarecrows 7. Kill The Lights 8. Kick The Dust Up 9. Huntin, Fishin' and Lovin' Every Day 10. Home Alone Tonight 11. Just Over 12. Way Way Back 13. Razorblade

10/3 Billboard 200:
KILL THE LIGHTS - Luke Bryan ( 557,000 ) = pure album sales
This should scan 1 million before the end of 2015.

The Target Deluxe Edition exclusive track "Little Boys Grow Up and Dogs Get Old" is one of his best recordings ever, imo. It should've been on the standard edition!
