Surprised to see Riptide still on th e chart, it only had a peak of 19, but lasted 20 weeks!
A Pretty slow week, 7 of the top 17 songs stayed the same position but Bad Blood did make the top 25 as expected..

American Oxygen is on the verge yet again, the third straight weeks it's been on the verge or a breakout..

Hopefully Turn Down for What gets used as a Two for One next week for "You Know You Like It", it's pretty much the only choice, right?
 ( on a side note, I have never heard "I Can Only Imagine before...)


Not happy seeing Geronimo, Pray To God and Don't Look Down falling spots :(

He wasn't played, last week, when it was a Breakout. It's, probably, safe to assume that the solo version is the version AT40 will be sticking with.

Napoleon would have liked this top 10: with DJ Snake and David Guetta entering, we have a French invasion of sorts. (Unlike Bonaparte, though, they have British and Dutch allies along for the ride in AlunaGeorge and Afrojack.) They replace Ariana Grande and Flo Rida, whose hit now really starts to live up to its title.

Another generous set of extras: 12 in all, with Rihanna and DJ Snake getting two each. If the Adam Lambert song charts, IIRC it'll be his third top 40 hit and his first since 2010. "Take Me to Church" and "Blank Space" continue to tie for chart seniority, though Taylor will likely soon have that title to herself, and "Uptown Funk" will probably eventually surpass it.

Count me in too for surprised that Vance Joy is still in The Top 40. I mean, "Riptide" is a good song and all, but it should have fallen off the chart last week. It will most likely be gone next week.

I am surprised that Calvin Harris featuring HAIM - Pray To God and Carly Rae Jepsen - I Really Like You are bombing. I REALLY like both songs.

The international version, as heard on the AT40 iHeart channel and on Virgin Radio Dubai, did not include "FourFiveSeconds."

And confirming that they again played the version of "Bad Blood" without Kendrick Lamar.

Once again a cold start to the show. It's rare to have 3 top-ten entries, esp. in such a slow
week. We got 2 "religious" songs in a row (38,37) and 2 "body" songs in a row (8,7). Ryan said that
Major Lazer is actually Diplo, and that we're having a bit of an Aussie invasion lately, in addition to
the UK artists, with Sheppard, 5 Seconds of Summer, Iggy, Sia, and Vance Joy.

Well, not exactly. Major Lazer are, actually, a group of EDM producers of which Diplo is the founder and a principal member.
