It never really got going after it hit the Top 50. I thought this had promise and there seemed to be a little excitement around it. I guess not.

I think his label needs to find his place in music. He is not the new Justin Bieber, yes he is more handsome and his voice is better but that doesn't matter, Bieber (as annoying as he is to a lot of people) has something that connects with an audience. Shawn Mendes (after a lot of trouble with the release of singles) is finding his place as a young and good looking (and very clean) version of Ed Sheeran.
Austin now is is Jason Derulo territory, nobody really takes him seriously, but Derulo (at least till now) is able to produce hit after hit that put him in the map even five years later (when the rivals of his startings are long gone). Austin needs a hit, and he needs it now, or he needs a total redo and think about a new direction with his music

His urban-pop music was just not working for most people.
