Mark Wills "Familiar Stranger"(Tenacity Records) 10. Panama City (Rivers Rutherford / Troy Verges / Aimee Mayo) I just love “Panama City” because it is so much fun. It reminded me a lot of “Jump” or some of the old Van Halen stuff I heard when I was 15 or 16 years old, cruising up and down the beach in Panama City. I wanted to have a summer fun song on the record, because I’ve lived them. My summer vacations were spent at either Daytona Beach or Panama City. So this was a natural. It fit my “personality profile” for this album, something fun that was also of real substance about me growing up. That’s little Joanna Jenet wailing in the background, giving it that extra attitude. This is the same song that was recorded by Donovan Chapman.

so its coming out on the 21st, not the 7th? Yes, the 21st, and not the 7th or the 14th or the 28th. haha. A risky move, because that puts her on the same day as Kenny, but he will have already released the 'Deluxe Edition'...

I am REALLY excited for Randy Owen's debut album. It's too bad his single isn't doing better because it really is a good song and his voice is timeless. Can't wait for this one!

I'm shocked with the route they're going on Lee Ann's new album. Last Call is just not going to take off and may actually fall off the charts before this even comes out. Her albums don't sell that well even with semi-decent charting singles so I can't imagine what a nightmare this is going to be. Keep in mind, I am thrilled for this to be coming out but it's certainly not going to be a Platinum seller. Gold if she's lucky.

According to amazon.com and craigmorgan.com, Craig Morgan's album is being released October 21st, not October 7th.

I am getting tired of re-releases, but the Christmas songs included on this are EXCEPTIONAL! She really does a great job and I know everyone will enjoy them. They were all sent to radio today. 1. Hark! The Herald Angels Sing 2. O Holy Night 3. The First Noel 4. What Child Is This? 5. Do You Hear What I Hear

Thanks, Zach!
Ugh, "Do You Hear What I Hear"-- I guess it's safe to assume this is the same version that she previously released in that Sony Christmas compilation album? I did NOT like the production on that song at all! Well, at least there are 4 others I'm hoping I enjoy :)
Since it's also probably safe to say that the Elvis collaboration on "I'll Be Home for Christmas" will be sent to radio too (as with the other songs on that album), that's a lot of Carrie Christmas songs trying to get some airtime.

^It is the exact same recording as what they released last year, yes. The Elvis duet is already at radio as well.

I have a question about the Elvis Christmas cd. I have read two different things. One saying Jennifer Nettles would be appearing on the cd, one saying she wouldn't. So, is she appearing on it or not? Anyone have any idea?

Anyone have any idea? I have the cd, and I see no Jennifer Nettles. Would have been a neat collaboration, though.

Thank you! Something that was dated in August had her listed on it with her song to be decided. Then something else I read was from a few weeks ago, didn't have her. Maybe the volume two they have coming out next year will have her on it. Supposedly that's happening.

I don't get it--the album is only 3 weeks away from being released, so if they release one new song a week, we will only get to hear 3 or 4 songs, including Last Call ???

^Zach-- thanx so much for listing Carrie's track list for he Christmas cd! Very cool.
I personally loved Do You HEar What I hear and thought the production and vocals were hauntingly beautiful. Her voice sounded crystal clear in that song.
^ shania--if you have the elvis cd, can you give us a hint as to how Carrie's song sounds? thanx!
