The chorus definitely threw me off at first but I'm into it now.
The video is truly a godsend though.

I like it. It like a mature "Problem" with more go-go influences. The guy in the chorus is obnoxious, but he's definitely memorable and it's a gimmick that just might work. And she sounds great, but that's a given.

Very Christina 2006 indeed. I've been saying this. It's pretty obvious that the main inspiratoin for this girl, from the "slutty girl next door" persona (Britney influenced too), to the rhythmic/pop music is a clear case of Xtina's influence, especially her first era.

The production is quite nice in the pre-chorus, this is basically Problem 2.0 so it's disappointing in that sense. Rehashing a lead single this early in your career is a very Mariah thing to do but not acceptable in 2015.

Of course the two Swedish songwriters would find it to be appropriate to have such a hook.

It really is "Problem" part II, but I still enjoy it. Will be huge on radio, that's for sure.

I cant @ her ass following the PINK formula of making every song sound the same. Girl its ok to remain on a winning team but this is a "harder" version of Problem
And dis Rich Harrison produced this? I swear this is a cousin of Toni Braxtons TAKE THIS RING and Ameries 1 THING

It's alright. This is like a "Problem" 2.0 and I dislike the chorus. It could grow on me though~

Very Christina 2006 indeed. Chile YES! I swear this could have been the 2nd Rich Harrison left over from B2B

This is what 'Bad Romance' was to 'Poker Face': generally an improvement, or expansion rather, of her past work and in two weeks the same people writing off the chorus will come around. I am all about this.
Didn't hear as much Christina on this as I expected. Video is the most exciting part, though.

It's very similar to Problem in the sense that it has an unusual chorus that doesn't not work, but does leave you wishing she had just sung it normally.

Didn't hear as much Christina on this as I expected. I agree. The parts that are reminiscent of Christina are towards the end. But, production-wise, it reminds me more of the go-go/hip-hop soul tracks that Rich Harrison did for Amerie's first two albums and his stuff with Beyoncé.

I really like this. The snippets made me think it was just going to be very strongly centered around the underwhelming sax riff, but the actual chorus with the sax not coming in during it until the bridge and the very end is a good decision. The prechorus is the best part.
Not sure if this'll be as huge as Problem, but it'll be another big hit for her.

This sounds like a direct clone from Problem with an inadequate annoying hook.

Yasssssss! I don't even care about that wonky voice in the chorus, it slays!

Not feeling it. Mystikal on the hook isn't helping it.

I'm definitely getting "Naughty Girl"-esque vibes with that production!

^It's Friday in less than fifteen minutes on the East Coast. iTunes always refreshes at 11:00pm Eastern on Thursday nights.
Underwhelmed by this on first listen, though I won't be surprised if, like "Confident," it grows on me later.
(Also, let this be the end of the Mariah trolling - on either side - unless you're making a valid comparison to her music.)
