Released in 2011 as the fourth single off 4. Reached the top 20 on the Hot 100 and #1 on R&B.
By far my favorite Beyoncé song (and one of my most played songs ever). It's right up my alley sonically and vocally. Beyoncé KILLED those key changes, she should do more belty songs that harken back to that era of R&B.
Here's her iconic VMA performance that totally overshadowed Britney's tribute just prior to it:

Fantastic. This is her best single and may be her best song, for me.

It's fun and a great track, but I prefer the more adventurous stuff from the parent album. I always rolled my eyes when people went on about the key changes.

Didn't like this one at all. It's so bland and boring, despite being uptempo.

I love this song and it's endless key changes - such a great summer tune.

I agree, just a great summer song. And she kills it vocally, always puts me in a good mood.
And seeing all the gays go all out during those key changes is hilarious at the club.

The key changes get me every time, but in general this sits about mid pack for me in regards to 4.

I used to think this was so overrated but it really is a classic. This is something I can see aunties playing at cookouts for decades to come.

This has become my favorite song of hers.
This is also our drumline's hype song for some odd reason.

Never fails to put me in a good mood. Such a bop. And as many others said, the key changes take me places.

and if this song couldn't get better, I've just realized that the beautiful Brian Tanaka is one of the backup dancers in the video.

This song was much bigger than what you might think by only looking at the charts.

Personally, it's still one of the best songs of 2012. I played the hell out of it that year.

I remember I found this song when I was a video of Zendaya dancing to this on DWTS and I was like "I like this!" and it's been one of my favorite Beyoncé songs since.

Still one of her most memorable moments from the 2010s. That performance was good.
The song is still a cute bop.

My favourite Bey song, only rivalled by Schoolin’ Life. Those key changes are magical.

Loved it- should've been a bigger hit. I haven't enjoyed her subsequent singles as much as this one.
