Does this mean that "Like I'm Gonna Lose You" is done?

I quite like this, it's cute. Makes me think of Lilo & Stitch.

As Glove Slap posted in its thread, Epic is still sending a ton of emails about "Like I'm Gonna Lose You," so I doubt this gets much of a push (sort of like "I'm In Love With A Monster" or "You're Never Fully Dressed Without A Smile").

Yeah, I think it'll likely chart with her name, but don't see much beyond just outside, or just cracking top 40 at best. They're not letting their meal ticket get away now that its time finally seems to have come.

The ironic thing is that this song, while good, is set in the present day, and the Peanuts film really isn't. I thought for sure she'd be doing her early-mid 60s thing again. But since she's written songs for other acts (read: Fifth Harmony), I guess she knows what she's doing. It is a catchy and upbeat song after all.

I actually like this! The song reminds me of Shakira's "Waka Waka".

If the movie turns out to be huge, this could be a big hit for her. Otherwise I see it being a midrange movie soundtrack performance that nobody will hold against her even if it falls flat on its face

This is so fluffy and cute. Also very summery. I wonder if this is her attempt at snatching an AA nomination.

The movie is turning into a hit! Hopefully this could follow suit. Really loving the tropical influence.

This is turning into a full on addiction, smash please.
The tropical influence, the bam di da da da (Whatever) part is very catchy, Meghan's voice is very fitting for the type of song, and Meghan looks all around gorgeus in the MV.
Makes me want Meghan to hop on to the tropical house bandwagon, tbh.

I kind of like this too. I'm sure after a few listens I'll like it even more. I would eaisly take this over the Fifth Harmony and Sia sdtk tracks.

Are they even going to do anything with this now that the movie has come and gone?

I suspect not.
I bet there's some on her team that hate having to give up an easy hit, which I definitely think this is. I have no trouble believing this would do (and sell) very, very well.
But it's time for Meghan to go away for a little, even like two months. Very fortunately, I don't think she's overexposed, and Like I'm Gonna Lose You is definitely a song the GP can stomach for awhile.

I'm a huge fan of hers, but this never really felt like a potential hit to me. A cute diversion, sure, but not anything that would even do as well as Dear Future Husband, let alone her other three big hits.
Granted, I also can't stand the way she pronounces "music" as "moosic" in this song, so that probably factors into my lukewarm reception.
