At best she'll do 16-25k under current conditions. She needs a hit before RCA releases this album. They have the best R&B roster but constantly sets them up to fail.

If Fantasia's album achieves debut sales of at least 40,000, do you think she will open at #1?What albums are her competition for the top spot during the week of July 29? drake?

^Oops. I just realize my message did not go through.
Anyway, do you know whether Fantasia is booked for any talk shows, radio shows, etc. to promote her album? It looks like she has no album promotional schedule lined unlike her previous album releases.

Fantasia Delivers Career-Spanning Performance for BET Concert Special7/25/2016 Last week Fantasia wowed a private Los Angeles audience with an intimate, genre-spanning concert taped as the first installment of BET's new live concert series that's set to premiere later this month. The former American Idol's taping brought her small crowd a taste of the artist's upcoming album The Definition Of, as well as renditions of her most memorable singles, including "Free Yourself," "When I See U" and the Grammy-winning "Bittersweet." The crowd was clearly touched by Fantasia’s raw emotion, sparking everything from tears to joyful praise.

Is that song "I Made It" going to be on her new cd? It's ok. It reminds me of something from a musical though. She's 1 for 3 so far with this era for me....

"No Time For It" was ok for the simple song that it was. It wasn't offensive.. "Ugly" is ok. It kind of reminds me of an Idol type inspirational ballad. "Sleeping With the one I Love" is pretty good. "So Blue" isn't for me. I'm not offended by the latest tracks by her. There just not high on my music buying priority right now. I probably will pass on this cd but may buy a track or two.

She had me excited with the little preview before this album really began. I thought she was going to bring it (still don't know), but I feel what we hearing isn't what she was recording as if there was a scrap in the recording process. Side Effect was an excellent one and I knew it would be hard to top. Honestly, the only thing I have loved is "No Time For It", which I feel is one of her best songs. Lyrically, it is just perfect and imo, it should have done well as "When I See U". However, I'll check her out because I love my Tasia. My expectations aren't that high for this release. She lost her momentum a while ago.

She didn't have any sessions with Harmony this era. They tried to set some up early on but somehow couldn't.

Hmmmmm Harmony said in earlier interview he wanted to go the Tina Turner "What's Love Got TO Do With It" "Private Dancer" route for her new album. R.Kelly (was initially suppose to do most of the album). Fantasia and Harmony chatted on twitter about trying to get back in the studio late last year. Her newer management tried to link up with Harmony earlier this year too as well as Oak and Pop.

While "Without You" is great, I can understand why she was resistant with going into that direction. It is the only track of its kind on the Side Effect album, which it doesn't take away (or add an amazing addition) how great the album was.
