I mean, similar to how Ryan Secrest airs American Top 40 every weekend counting down all the best pop songs throughout the country, not to mention there is also a countdown for the AC radio format. I think a Rhythmic variation would be cool as well.

I don't think a larger-scale countdown (anything beyond a station's own "Top X @ X") would really work at the Rhythmic format.

Isn't Hollywood Hamilton's top 30 countdown still in existence? Yes it is! It still airs here in Minneapolis on 101.3 KDWB Sunday nights at 7 CST.
