Any callout info on this yet? I can't imagine it's doing as well as Hello did, at least with pop listeners.

I was a little surprised about that update as well. But, I believe it was exploding last week so maybe it will slow down for a second?

Other than the epic karaoke video, Adele disappears out of the spotlight as soon as she steps in it. It doesn't really feel like there's been a push for this single yet, and all the airplay is due to the fact that stations just started playing it. Is "Hello" still on top for airplay across all formats? The slow down here makes sense with no push and "Hello" still on the radio all the time.
It seems like her team is really holding back until the Grammys.

Callout research hasn't been done since December 18th, but there should be some new data with this song included later this month. Probably on Friday.

I don't want to search this whole thread, so I'm going to ask this question. Has this been given an add date? Could that be the cause of slowdown?

"Send My Love (To Your New Lover)" is far and out the worst track on the album for me. I don't like it at all.
For this, it's okay. "Hello" burned on me majorly and I haven't really gotten into this. I might even skip this as well. I'll just hope for "Water Under the Bridge" as the third single lol.

How so? Glad to see the song gaining steadily. By the time it hits the top 10 on pop, Justin should start peaking in airplay. Then with a push in February it should be able to overcome "Love Yourself" as it should be falling in airplay by the time "When We Were Young" is put up for streaming/a video released and a possible performance at the grammys.

We'll see what happens, but I am starting to see this being her least successful and impacting single since the 19 days. I honestly don't know anyone who is really into it. I think mainly her older fans, but that's not the demo that makes a song big.

Well, I just don't think this is a great song and after a really great song like Hello this just seems like a leftover song. But I kind of think that about the album as a whole except for the classic song Hello. There is a reason that was the first single. It just fit in perfectly for marketing Adele's return. The rollout of her album should be studied in Marketing classes! It was awesome. I assume she will perform at this year's Grammys but she isn't eligible for anything until next year? I haven't looked at the nominations. Anyway, I thought she would be a lock for album of the year next year but I'm going to say that will now go to David Bowie's new release. They'll pick Adele's Hello as SOTY and ROTY.

Besides those two words, the rest of the statement was to the board in general, I'm assuming. So I was wondering, NeRD, why did you post interesting?

I actually prefer this much more over Hello. Hello burned on me very quickly by the time the album came out but I've been listening to this song for two months and I still love it, probably because this is a very relatable song for me.

I'm a little pressed it's under-performing like this. I wonder if they're going to move on to another song or wait until after the Grammys to push this. TECHNICALLY this hasn't even been sent for adds or received any push outside a few radio edits.

lets not beat around the bush. It's flopping. It hasn't even been fully pushed yet? Has this gone for adds? #11 on iTunes.

Why do people keep bringing up the adds date? This is top 15. It doesn't need an adds date and even if it got one, it wouldn't make a difference. Radio is clearly aware that it's the second single.
She needs to promote this. A video, a performance... when Adele promotes, no matter where it is, it always makes a huge difference in sales and public response.
