do these even need to be videos? they're all text with no background music or any audio at all to keep me engaged. these honestly would be much better as a blog post or something honestly

^Every time I try to put background music, Youtube removes the audio because of copyright. Also, I tried doing videos with my voice and other formats, but that didn't work out, so I went back to that format, plus I review songs better in this format. If you don't like it, sorry. Lastly, please make it related to the subject matter. I want the comments to be strictly related to the picks, not critizicing my form of making it. And if you want, make your own list, but please keep it related to the video.

Why not just copy/paste the text in this thread. And yes, this is relevant because no one is going to read your selections if they don't like the format of presentation.

how is the form of making it not part of the subject matter? it's really damn hard to even care slightly about your picks when the way they're being presented is being so awfully.
(also, like it or not, anyone can criticize the video as they please, as long as it's withing the rules of the site.)
anyways I'll stop now since from past experience I may as well be talking to a brick wall so

I've studied how to work Powerpoint (among many things) in the last 5-6 years while going to college/business school.
Really need to cut down on the number of words per slide. It makes the video close to unwatchable at times.
But yeah, I'll post my best/worst list here soon. Thanks to several videos, I have a few new ideas. Plus, I've heard a lot of songs already.

It makes the video close to unwatchable at times. That and the formatting of text no matter where you post it is important. No one wants to read blocks of text, especially on the internet, unless they're written by Cynthia but at least she knows how to use paragraphs.

Well, that's his opinion, no need to attack him. I'm not attacking him. I genuinely wanna know how one could not like those songs. And don't use "Well that's my/your/his opinion" like it's an actual, valid argument.

Well, that's his opinion, no need to attack him. I'm not attacking him. I genuinely wanna know how one could not like those songs. It's personal preference. I could ask how people could like Silento's "Watch Me". But there are people who like it. Likewise, there will be people who won't like the songs that you like. Well, that's his opinion, no need to attack him. And don't use "Well that's my/your/his opinion" like it's an actual, valid argument. Well, it is a valid argument

And don't use "Well that's my/your/his opinion" like it's an actual, valid argument. Renegades - Pretty much indistinguishable from any other number of faux-"indie folk" songs made for use in car commercials. Fight Song - So cliched that it becomes unbearable to listen to. Uma Thurman - That guitar sample and the lyrics are horrendous. Hell, I think everything that FOB has made this decade is horrendous. New Americana - Do I really need to explain this one?

Mark Ronson feat. Bruno Mars - Uptown Funk Milky Chance - Stolen Dance Rachel Platten - Fight Song Walk The Moon - Shut Up & Dance Wiz Khalifa - See You Again Uptown Funk - It's too much of a Prince/The Time/Morris Day tribute act for my liking Stolen Dance - The accent and way the vocals are sung kill this for me. Fight Song - What the hell is a "fight song"? Shut Up & Dance - It's a poor mishmash of "Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall", "What Makes You Beautiful", and "Moves Like Jagger" and it grates on my nerves. See You Again - I like the Charlie Puth chorus but the rest of it is just horrible.

WORST
Madonna - "Bitch I'm Madonna" — Worst song of the year. An abomination.
Other awful songs:
Britney Spears & Iggy Azalea - "Pretty Girls" Mariah Carey - "Infinity" Gwen Steani - "Spark The Fire" Rihanna - "FourFiveSeconds" (feat. Kanye West & Paul McCartney) Sia - "Alive" Ariana Grande - "Focus" Chris Brown & Tyga - "Ayo" Demi Lovato - "Cool For The Summer" Usher - "I Don't Mind" Luke Bryan - "Kick the Dust Up" Silentó - "Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae)" Taylor Swift - "Bad Blood" (feat. Kendrick Lamar) Nate Ruess - "AhHa"
HM: Janet Jackson — "No Sleeep" - I know everyone and their mamas creamed themselves over this meh song that doesn't go anywhere, but for me (and although it's *somewhat* grown on me) it was the letdown of 2015. NOT a horrible, unlistenable song by any means, but definitely very very underwhelming to me. Janet was absent for years from the scene and came back with that? Thank God 90% of the rest of the album was stronger.
========
BEST
Brandon Flowers - "Can't Deny My Love" — My song of the year.
Other great songs (/singles):
Carly Ray Jepsen - "All That" Ciara - "Dance Like We're Making Love" Years & Years - "King" Robin Thicke - "Morning Sun" The Weeknd - "Earned It" Little Mix - "Love Me Like You" Tamar Braxton - "If I Don't Have You" Tamar Braxton - "Catfish" Janet Jackson - "Unbreakable" Madonna - "Ghosttown" Def Leppard - "Let's Go" Selena Gomez - "Good For You" Sara Bareilles - "She Used To Be Mine" Brandon Flowers - "Still Want You" Nate Ruess - "Great Big Storm" Lana Del Rey - "High By the Beach" Rihanna - "Towards The Sun" Carrie Underwood - "Heartbeat" Leon Bridges - "Coming Home" Pentatonix - "Can't Sleep Love" Major Lazer - "Lean On" Lindstrøm - "Home Tonight" Katharine McPhee - "Lick My Lips" Fetty Wap - "Trap Queen" Jordin Sparks - "They Don't Give" Melanie Fiona - "Bite The Bullet" Jazmine Sullivan - "Let It Burn" Duran Duran - "Pressure Off" (feat. Janelle Monáe) Janelle Monáe - "Yoga" Hilary Duff - "Sparks" Jamie XX - "I Know There's Gonna Be (Good Times)" [feat. Young Thug and Popcaan] DNCE - "Cake By The Ocean" Beck - "Dreams"
I'll edit this post with more bad songs as I remember them, as well as with the best songs of 2015, there's a lot I loved this year.

"Marvin Gaye" makes me deeply sad and concerned for today's horny young teenagers. "Watch Me" nearly made me leave my dad's wedding early. "New Americana" is just the worst thing ever. "Fight Song" is basically Roar but worse. I purposely blocked "Nasty Freestyle" out of my head so I assume it was awful.
Everything else idk
