Was expecting Adele to debut within The Top 20 instead of #24. I'm sure next week, she will be either in or close to The AT40 Top 10.

Well they ended up playing Thrift Shop as an extra this week anyway, instead of the two for one since Downtown fell out of the top 10. Drake should have been it this week, then they use him as feature on another extra instead..
Only 4 more weeks left in 2015? Dec 19th should be the Year End chart, then no chart on the 26th. Stitches will be #1 the next two weeks then Hello may hit #1 after given the way it's rising on the latest mediabase chart (which would make it #1 in its fourth week!)
I really prefer the radio version of That's How You Know, "messed up" sounds way better than "f**ked up".

Yeah The Breakout song is usually just a song that is nearing the chart, so I guess you could say Roses would be #41, and That's How You Know- New Americana #42/#43 And Only Love #44. But Focus should have been a breakout this week. It will do the same as Sorry and Hello this week and just debut next week without being a breakout.

Based on the pattern of the past couple of years, it stands to reason that 12/19 will be the last regular chart of the year. The skip weeks will be 12/26 and 1/2 (with the top 40 of the year running both weeks...with different extras). Regular countdowns would resume the weekend of 1/9.

Ah okay, that means Hello would get the extra two weeks At #1.... So if it's #1 by 12-5 chart, it will get a minimum of 5 weeks at #1 and who knows how many if it has staying power after the new year.

- So four debuts, including Adele's first big hit since 2012. Hello is her fifth song to make it to AT40. The song title has also been used by Lionel Richie, Martin Solveig and Karmin.
- I thought See You Again was going to leave this week, but no. Hey Mama leaves instead, making Worth It the oldest song alone.
- Fight Song also leaving is not really a surprise to me.
- Did I tell ya'll that Feelings and El Perdon (Forgiveness) wouldn't last long? I'd get that Maroon 5 would release Feelings as their fifth single from V. It's a decent song but I think they should've released My Heart Is Open (ft. Gwen Stefani). It seems like a good song.
- Speaking of Gwen, I hope Used To Love You debuts ASAP.
- That's How You Know has been making slow progress over the last two months. I doubt it's going to make the Top 30.
- Ariana Grande's Focus should be in certainty to enter next week, and perhaps the Chainsmokers, too.
- Cool For The Summer should leave in two weeks maybe because it's losing plays like crazy for a track that peaked at #3.
- AT40 ignored good Two For One suggestions. Instead of What's My Name being played as an extra, it should've been the 2 For 1 song after Drake's Hotline Bling, which might be Aubrey Graham's very first #1 hit soon.

I just heard AT40 (international version) on Virgin Radio Dubai.
"Used To Love You" by Gwen Stefani was played as "New Music" between #5 and #4, along with an interview with Gwen.

Was it a snippet or was the whole song played because it was not listed on the cue sheet I got (and that's the U.S. version)?

Leading into #1, Ryan mentioned something I had, already, pointed out on the main Mediabase chart thread. "Wildest Dreams" is the fifth #1 off of Taylor's current album. That makes her only the fourth artist to ever have five #1s off of one album. The other three were Michael Jackson (five #1s off of Bad), Janet Jackson (five #1s off of Rhythm Nation 1814), and Katy Perry (six #1s off of Teenage Dream, seven if you count the rerelease).

I actually prefer a second or third Breakout to the Two For One. More new music being played. The online iHeart countdown seems to be jumping around and skipping segments, at least sometimes.

I haven't had any issues listening on the iheart channel.
"high on legal marijuana" gets entirely censored though on New Americana?? The All Access radio edit doesn't censor it.

The, current, iteration of AT40 uses R&R/Mediabase as it's source for historical data. "Come Back To Me" hit #1, there. That chart, also, yielded an 8th single, "State Of The World", which was ineligible for inclusion on the Hot 100, at the time, due to not having a commercial single release. Miss You Much (#1, 3 wks)Rhythm Nation (#2) Escapade (#1, 4 wks)Alright (#2) Come Back To Me (#1, 1 wk) Black Cat (#1, 1 wk) Love Will Never Do (Without You) (#1, 3 wks)State Of The World (#4)
