I will be amazed if this makes the Top 40 none of the other Nash Icon songs (Going Out Like That being the exception) none of them have comed within a sniff of the Top 40. If Nash Icon can get some other adds than I can see a chance of this hitting the Top 40 but I have serious doubts they will since they're might not be an add date.

There doesn't need to be a concrete impact date for this one since (like you said) the stations outside the Cumulus block will largely ignore it anyway. The fact there isn't an add date yet is to be expected (it was literally just released to radio this evening, so perhaps we'll see one in the near future) and it has no bearing on non-Cumulus stations adding it. This is impacting immediately for those Cumulus stations.

She falls all of the charts unfortunately, but there's a great full page ad in tonight's BCU. I'm hopeful that with a number of songs going recurrent/falling out next week (Brad Paisley, Brothers Osborne, Eric Church, Joe Nichols, possibly more), she'll be able to debut on the airplay chart.

YAAYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm still over the moon that this was released in general, that the most gorgeous video of her career was made, and that she's getting some very well deserved attention for this incredibly beautiful song (and amazing album)!!! <3 <3 <3

Yes!! I am stoked to see this officially getting released to radio. I personally predict it will do better than "Until They Don't Love You" did, if only because of the hype surrounding the release of this one so far. We'll see if top 40 is a possibility though...

I don't think this one will even chart. "Just Like Them Horses" fell to #67 on Mediabase this week and Reba's song lost 30 spins and 40k in audience -- her song has less than 100k in total audience this week.
I think the music video is the main purpose for this song, not that it was going to be a big radio hit anyway but its airplay has been non-existent thus far. The Nash Icon single that's taking up the airplay is "Reckless."

The Nash Icon single that's taking up the airplay is "Reckless." I find it odd that neither of the Nash Icon singles out right now have been given an add date... Although they have a little bit of an excuse with Martina because they technically sent her song to radio simultaneous with its digital release, and an add date probably wouldn't do much more for it anyway. But with Reba, I do agree that it is definitely starting to seem like it is not intended to be a radio single at all; it has just been getting some curiosity spins. I would have thought that if it was a radio single, the Cumulus block would have picked it up immediately and at least gotten it to chart... Maybe it's just suffering from too much recurrent play from "Until They Don't Love You" :kii:

I so wish that Nash stations had played this. Even though it probably wouldn't have left the 50s, I wish that this had charted at least. Oh well, a top 20 streaming peak is something, I guess.

It's a shame this one didn't even get enough airplay to at least chart. It obviously didn't get a real push to radio but I definitely think it could've at least done what UTDLY did, especially with the music video hype. Bit of a missed opportunity imo and it kind of defeats the whole purpose of what I thought Nash Icon was intended for if they weren't going to at least be playing something like this.

Yeah, this song is officially not going to do anything. It is currently parked at #73 on Mediabase. The "peak" was #64 like four weeks ago...
I just really hope this song's failure is not a death knell for the Love Somebody era. "Enough", "Living Ain't Killed Me Yet", "That's When I Knew", "Promise Me Love", "Love Somebody"... These are all songs that I cannot get out of my system after all this time. Very seldom does an album have such a plethora of hit-worthy album tracks. The fact is, this album is only 10 months old... In my opinion it would be criminal to end the era so quickly, especially considering that Reba is a pretty precarious album-maker these days. Who knows if we are ever going to get another one. And if we do, who knows if it will even come in this decade! I know the singles aren't going to do much beyond the top 45 or so, but the caveat to that is that it can't cost too terribly much to just put them out there for the Cumulus stations to play. If the material is there, why would you not do that, when you have such a convenient affiliation... Especially when your entire purpose is to give veteran artists a format for their songs to be played on the radio without having to compete with the hot young artists for success.
Unfortunately I fear that the overall non-event of this song indicates that the label is not planning to promote anything else to radio. Unless this song was intended solely as a "buzz single", where they would ride the hype of the music video as long as they could, and then release a real single shortly thereafter. If that is the case, they need to announce a real single soon! And if they truly intend to stop this album after 2 radio singles and a music video to an un-pushed 3rd song, what does that mean for the rest of the Nash Icon artists? They may as well start releasing yearly albums in order to keep their names out there if their albums are only going to be relevant for 10 months...

I agree. I thought that the whole point of Nash Icons was to play the current singles from its artists, to allow them a platform to get their new music heard. Disappointing if they aren't going to play them past 1 or 2 singles. I can't imagine it's a money thing, since promotion costs should be minimal.
I'm hoping for a turnaround for this to at least scrape the chart, but that's pretty unlikely.

Random side-note, but Reba McEntire and Lady Gaga apparently share a birthday. I didn't know that till I saw stuff about both of them today on social media, but I thought it was kinda nifty. Love both of them.

Love both of them. I knew they did because my sister loves them both and her birthday is today as well lol, we're hoping her son is born before the end of the day too but it's not looking likely lol I share mine with Sarah Buxton, we're exactly 10 years apart!
