12 years after a failed debut album and several record deals that didn't amount to anything, Tamar Braxton made a breakthrough with this song. To the shock of everyone, it shot to #1 on iTunes in December of 2012. It eventually went to top 10 at urban radio and peaked at #1 at urban AC. It peaked at #13 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart and #57 on the Hot 100. This is definitely one of my favorite R&B song of the 2010s, so far.

Gorgeous!
This was #2 on R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay and it was the first of 4 consecutive top 10 hits.

It's still a really good song. NO ONE was expecting her to do as well as she did.

This was such a killer song. One of those power ballads that gave me early 90s nostalgia. Not in terms of sound or production, but purely in terms of it being such a BIG vocal showcase. Tamar just ATE the vocals, her voice is amazing and more powerful than Toni's.

This was a breath of fresh air at the time, and I enjoyed it, but I'd be lying if I said I've played it much since it was a current single. "The One" is still my favorite single by her.

Absolutely love this song. Always have and always will. Tamar just takes me places with that climax.

Just a great debut single (I know, it's not technically her debut single, but it kinda is). I prefer "TO" and "ATWH" to this, but it's still a killer song.

Obvious rip off of Keyshia's "Trust & Believe" but great vocals.

Obvious rip off of Keyshia's "Trust & Believe" but great vocals. The reason I never love it as much as her other materials. "Trust & Believe" is the superior song (and video)!
