This song is too good to not keep climbing. Amazing vocals, amazing lyrics, amazing video. Addicted to this song right now.

How is this one doing? Feels like the road to the Top 30 won't happen anytime soon.

That is not good at all, I figure the CMT Awards would generate some buzz and get this selling more which would lead to radio playing it. Now I'm having doubts that this'll even make the Top 30 unless Cam gets moving!

It's gone up from #37 to where it is now from a few weeks ago. I think this could hit Top 30 in a week or two, but beyond that is questionable. In a just world, this would be a #1 hit.

I should've never asked how this song is doing as today's update was even worst as Cam lost 33 spins and nearly 200k in audience which might signify that the end is really near this song which is a total shame if so as I adore this song (I guess this just wasn't the right choice for radio).
With "Mayday" probably about done barring a turnaround I'd probably release "Half Broke Heart" next as it's one of my favorites off her album or do a re-release of "My Mistake".

Again, I doubt this is done yet. You seem to be really quick to jump the gun on songs being over, but this one still has some life left in it. It's still not even that old of a song, especially for a new artist. I think Warner will be in this one for the long haul, especially after the recent uptick in sales this one experienced.

I know I tend to jump the gun , maybe I should wait a little bit before I do jump the gun again, sorry if my posts annoyed u there. I just hope this gets moving soon but Cam has remained.flat as a.whole in gains for a while now, and I'm not that convinced she will move up that much more. The label is probably in it for the long stretch but this better get moving soon as Cam hasn't gained much for a while now.

Your posts don't annoy me, but I've just noticed a trend lately lol I think they could eek this one out into the top 25, but I'm not confident it will do much better. While I like the song, I'm not surprised this is struggling a bit. It was obvious country radio wasn't as big on "Burning House" as the industry and general listeners were, seeing how quickly they were to stop playing that one. It just seemed unwise to release another ballad like song, no matter how well of a song it is. Something uptempo probably should have been released, especially since a bulk portion of its climb was going to occur during warmer months.

This one is moving pretty slowly (or not much at all) and is having a rough go at it right now, but Cam is a new female artist so this was to be expected. This isn't a particularly radio-friendly song for country radio, and it doesn't have OTV or strong sales to help get it going faster, but all things considered, I think that "Mayday" isn't doing half bad so far. It was obvious from the start nothing she released was going to climb as fast as "Burning House," but I still think this can be a decent hit by the end of 2016 (I can see this one climbing for the rest of the calendar year).

Cam is eligble for recurrency this week, and "Mayday", isn't exactly putting up much of a fight so far as Cam lost over 40 spins and 200k in audience today and I wouldn't be shocked if Sony decided to give up on this as Cam hasn't made much progress in the last month or so.

This run has been so frustrating. One day it has a positive bullet, then the next it's negative. It keeps swinging back and forth. I doubt this gets much further, but I don't see Sony pulling this just yet.
I still absolutely love this.

Stick a fork in it... this one is done. Would make sense. "Mayday" is down 70 spins and 400k in audience past two days; went without bullet on both Mediabase and Billboard this past week. This Sunday will likely be its final published chart appearance on Mediabase.

What is everyone thinking next? She probably should go with something with tempo. I like "Untamed" the best but there are other good options.

"Mayday" should have gone much higher than it did.
"Half Broke Heart" is the obvious choice, imo. I really hope that they go with it.

I really find it hard to believe this one is done. It wasn't doing great at the moment, but I definitely saw the label sticking with this for the long haul (it really wasn't that old yet). It seems like they invested quite a bit into it with the video and performances so... this is surprising.
Next single absolutely needs to be something with more tempo though, and I co-sign the ideas for a re-release of "My Mistake" or "Half Broke Heart" as the third single. Title track or "Want It All" would work for me as well. Really they have quite a few options I'd be happy with.

I mean, it's not officially done, but the hope isn't too high here. If it goes recurrent Sunday, Sony will be forced to cease promotion on it.

It wouldn't be the first time a label continued to promote a release after it went recurrent and it was allowed to re-enter in a week or two of absence. I'd really like to see this one rally and make it much higher on the charts, even though it's not one of my favorites on the album and part of me is looking forward to the next single since it will probably be one of the more uptempo tracks that I prefer on the album.

I think it's done, as songs don't lose 70 spins and 400k in audience for 2 days. Especially when it's the first two days of the BB week.
Plus hearing a radio DJ on Pulse saying it's about done, indicates that radio isn't gonna support this and I hope Sony realizes that.
I find it funny how Cam now joins, Michael Ray, Easton Corbin, A Thousand Horses, Chris Janson, Randy Houser, Jana Kramer, and Canaan Smith. Where their first songs for the album were radio/selling hits that went Top 5, but the followup never really went anywhere (I really don't acknowledge "My Mistake" as a single) and doused momentum for that artist. I really want Cam to succeed as she seems like a genuine true artist but, I don't know anymore.

djHayStack is a radio program director and I take him saying this one is done as validity. He also said "Riser" was done before it was free-falling back in December. If the label is off of this it should start really showing within a few days.

Shame. I liked this song.
I think it was just too smart for the average country listener. I mean, "You are overbearing. I'm not in love but I don't wanna tell you" as a first line is a TON of information to process when we are all used to "Hey hey, yeah yeah yeah, baby girl that's what I'm talking bout! Pass me a beer!"

Am I the only one that thinks "Hungover on Heartache" sounds the most radio friendly? That seems pretty easy going and unoffensive, but it also happens to be my favorite on the whole album. "Untamed" is pretty good as well but that might be too country sounding.

I think the options for the next single are almost endless! I will list the songs I do not want to see get released....
Untamed, Cold In California, Country Ain't Never Been Pretty, and Village.
Any of the rest have a fair chance at success in my opinion. My Mistake should have been a smash hit, so maybe try re releasing it.
