21 Summer was at 22 on Mediabase and now it's not there at all. Can't even request it. I really wanted that one to do well. Those two are so talented. Does anyone know what happened? "21 Summer" is at #21 on Mediabase this week. Attachment DeletedI saw it at 21 on the mediabase pdf but not on the 7 day charts or on some of the request sites

This is one of the most bizarre things I've ever seen...

I was just about to post this. That's a screw up by the folks at Mediabase 24/7, which is just perplexing because I don't see how a mistake like that can be made. Every other that's suppose to be there is on there. "21 Summer" is still on All Access and Kworb (same rolling chart). Weird. Maybe they know something we don't. Like, this song is going to run out of steam very soon.

I definitely expect this song to give up within the next few weeks.
The MB research is showing rather high negative feedback and not much positive for this song (along with Runaway June but well, that still looks to have some life in it).
At 35 weeks old on BB, I definitely think this song is nearing the end, so far my projections have Brothers Osborne holding steady at #24 (Dustin Lynch "Seein Red" passes while Billy Currington "It Don't Hurt Like It Used To" goes recurrent). On Mediabase, the guys look to land at #22 or #23 depending if Lauren Alaina "Road Less Traveled" makes the sneak pass (since Lauren Alaina herself isn't moving much herself, but is on a better pace than Brothers Osborne).
Maybe this song lasts until December when the Christmas Freeze happens (by then I expect "21 Summer" to give in). But at this point scraping the Top 20 looks to be the absolute best it will manage to do.

One of the more surprising flops in recent memory. I saw this as a sure fire hit. At least top 5.

Did Rum even chart when it was released? That's another one I loved and don't know what happened to it. 21 Summer deserved at least top 10 :(

I agree this one is running on fumes but it has gained 40 spins and 200k in audience this week. It actually lost nearly 900k in Mediabase audience last week.

EMI Nashville has this ad running in Country Aircheck's email this week. "21 Summer" has been treading water for weeks now (just 22 spins and 100k in audience gained the past three days) but it makes sense to try and capitalize on the "Duo of the Year" win at the CMA Awards and just push this as close to the end of the year as possible. I'm sure some stations want rid of this right now but I'm glad the label will keep this one alive just a little longer.

This is another really good song having a hard time getting air time. Hopefully their CMA will give this song momentum!!

It would be nice if this wonderful song was doing better on the charts, but their label will undoubtedly have to reassess its future in January.

Shame it was getting high "negativities" from MB. My tastes must be completely out of sync with mainstream. Maybe as people hear more, minds will change. That sounds naive, but there are a number of songs that grow on me the more I hear them. There is a lot on radio that is just junk. This is not one of those songs.

I didn't like the song at first but one day when it was playing on the radio I "heard it differently". I think also I was confusing it with "Song For Another Time" because I hadn't heard either all the way through for a while.

Wonder what's next if this truly is done. Do they go with another single from Pawn Shop? Down Home?

Brothers Osborne has gained 270k in audience since Monday so the song is still hanging in there. They look to stay at #22 for another week on MB as they finally got passed by Lauren Alaina (I myself am happy about that as "Road Less Traveled" has a lot more of a chance to succeed than "21 Summer"), but this song is still hanging in there like sabre14 noted earlier this week

I wasn´t expecting a lot more for this song so it is good to see after CMA this gained in audience so let´s see how long it can still hang in there.

This song did gain in audience but I expect this to not last much longer. Maybe til the Christmas Freeze but that's the latest. I expect songs soon from High Valley, Brothers Osborne, Drake White, and possibly Jerrod Niemann/Lee Brice and Chris Janson to all give up within the next month.

I think the end is finally here for this song. Brothers Osborne is now looking to be in freefall on the Indicator chart and with the exception of "Little Bit Of You" whenever a song goes in freefall or recurrent on the Indicator chart that's a good sign that the song is done.

Just in case people missed it, "21 Summer" is done. Losses of +100 spins the past few days.

I wonder what they're gonna do next. Lead single? I know the album hasn't even been out a year but might have to go lead single to create more buzz. If 21 Summer couldn't be a hit I don't see how anything else on the album will.

I always felt like American Crazy should have been the single choice here and I still fee like that's a hit if they release it.

I'm holding off on a thread for the mean time since WBEE's "Music Meeting Song of the Day" has put a couple songs up there that are not future singles but they have "It Ain't My Fault" up as their "Music Meeting Song" today.
Considering their track record, and "21 Summer" free-falling on Mediabase, there's probably a good chance "It Ain't My Fault" is the next single from Brothers Osborne.

I doubt anything else from this album can be a hit at this point, but I would release "American Crazy" next since it sounds the most radio friendly. The theme would also go over pretty well now considering the current events.

Damn I was hoping for "Heart Shaped Locket" as I love that song so much. Oh well they're all good songs so I'll be happy with anything really.
