Judging by what I've heard and how Jordan's radio tour is going, it looks like "Feels Like One Of Them" will be released to radio in January.

With Broken Bow behind him and an Aldean duet, I think this guy probably has a good chance of a breakthrough.

Nothing that really grabs my attention. Sounds like it'd be a perfect song for Chase Rice to sing if anything.

^ Jordan is basically a Jason Aldean disciple. He sings the same song subjects, they're from the same state and Jordan sites Jason as a big influence. No surprise Broken Bow decided to invest money into him as an artist considering they are the label home of Aldean.

It's not a bad song, just generic and oh so typical. Has a been there, done that feel. As if I've heard it repeatedly already, even though I'm only on my first listen. I don't dislike it, but I don't necessarily enjoy it either. It's just kind of there.
It'll be interesting for me to hear more form Jordan Rager since his main influence seems to be Jason Aldean and we all know I like pretty much like all of Jason's work. I don't hear much specific to Aldean's style in this song, honestly. It just sounds like your current run-of-the-mill mainstream country song. I know a lot of people find Aldean's music boring, but I think a good chunk of his material has a definite edge to it and a quality sound melodically. I feel both of those elements are missing in this song.
I can definitely tell that Jordan is channeling Jason though, especially looks wise. The torn up jeans and hoop earrings... all he needs is a cowboy hat and bam! Jason Aldean.

Not terrible, I just want one of these new male artists to stand out from the pack. Too me so many of them are all staying in the same track, just wanting to churn the same songs out over-and-over to get the guaranteed hit.

The song is written by Jeremy Stover and Jaron Boyer.

Moved all the "Feels Like One Of Them"-related posts (see above) into this new thread, as BBR has decided to go with "Southern Boy" as Jordan's lead single instead of FLOOT (ha, FLOOT).
