She is performing this with Nick Jonas at the ACMs! Should be interesting since I'm not sure how they'll turn it into a duet, but it should bring some nice exposure for Kelsea. Thinking this will be a medley of PP along with 1 or 2 of Nick's songs. Hoping PP gets equal time, but no doubt this duet should be a blast for Kelsea since she's often commented on what a huge Jonas Bros. fan she was in her youth! Looking forward to watching this!

I can't wait to see her perform with Nick Jonas on the ACMs! And her video for "Peter Pan" will be good.

Solid video. But I don't think it is the epic video everyone was hoping for. Kelsea looks so pretty though.

Aw, I really liked the video. I found Kelsea to look absolutely stunning in the red dress (not the blue one as I found that to be a little too long of a dress). I also love how before and after the song Kelsea narrates a little. Not a mind blowing video but nonetheless solid, and that video should definitely help sales (not that it really matters considering how good this song is doing already on the sales front).

That music video was incredible. Totally met my expectations. I loved the blue dress but then when the scenes in the red dress with the hot air balloon backdrop came up I was like wow. Fantastic video in every way. She looks like a STAR.

The train on her blue dress is so annoying and almost ruins the video for me. The video is otherwise amazing and it is awesome to watch Kelsea blossom into a big star.

I absolutely love the video...her dresses, the plane and car, the location. The only thing I don't like is her narration at the beginning and the end. It sounds really cheesy to me, like she's some high school girl reading her diary out loud. I really wish they hadn't done that, but oh well. Otherwise it's an excellent video, and Kelsea looks so beautiful.

I like the video, but the intro and outro don't do much for me but aren't long enough to annoy. Stunning video, but not much of a storyline...

I randomly stumbled across studio audio of the song "When I Think About You" on YouTube:
How did this song not make her debut album? It sounds like a big pop-country hit.

That is not a bad song whatsoever. I really hope that's on her sophomore album as I find it a really good blend of pop-country.
I am definitely curious to see how much the "Peter Pan" performance tonight on the ACMS will help this ones sales. I'm not expecting this to be the biggest song of the night out of those performed (Chris Stapleton, Tim McGraw and probably Carrie Underwood will have the biggest sales spike) but I wonder how much the ACM performance will help.

It can always make her sophomore album. :) I suppose it's possible, but I'm not betting on it. The song was likely written in 2013 if not before (according to a Google search) and I doubt such an old song would make it onto Kelsea's sophomore album.

It always becomes less likely as times lingers on but it's certainly not out of the question. The label/Kelsea probably just thought it didn't "fit" into what they wanted on The First time. Though I think it could have, myself.

#41 on iTunes.
Based on itunescharts.net, that's higher than Love Me Like You Mean It's peak at #45. Dibs technically got to #30, but discounted. And it only had 4 days in the T40 even with that.

Impressive #40, 45 and 60 all-genre for Kelsea. Looks like lots of folks are discovering Kelsea for the first time, and buying all 3 singles at once!
The music video is absolutely brilliant and ACM Performance was pretty good. Glad to see her having all this success.

I think Kristin Barlowe did a beautiful job by interpreting Kelsea's lyrics so literally, yet still capturing the heart of the song. With a title like Peter Pan, it might have been tempting for some director to take the fairy-tale route which could have been hokey or juvenile so this video far exceeded my expectations! It is so visually appealing in every way. I absolutely love it!
I'm glad her appearance on the ACM's is giving PP as well as her other songs a bump in iTunes. To be honest, I was a little underwhelmed by her collaboration with Joe Jonas. I expected a seamless duet but to me the performance seem disjointed & even the acoustics/vocals were off. Regardless, I am so happy that Kelsea got a bit of the spotlight on such a big event.

I just heard this on Taste Of Country Nights, and man this song works so well on that radio, especially in the later hours of the day/night. So beautiful listening to this.
I did really like Kelsea's performance last night on the ACMs, I thought the inclusion of "Love Me Like You Mean It" was kind of pointless. That and Nick Jonas part felt kind of unnecessary (I didn't mind it but I saw no point). But wow Kelsea really brought a more than often on point performance (she was a tad shaky in places, but overall not bad whatsoever). I'm really hoping this will be the song most remembered for her first album (since I do want overall quality to win in the end).

Between the excellent video, the ACMs performance, and the sales boost it gave her, things are really looking good for this song and Kelsea Ballerini right now. I'm expecting her to go three-for-three with "Peter Pan" hitting the top of the charts this fall. <3

I liked her first two singles but this extraordinary song absolutely blows both of them to smithereens as well as most of the songs currently on the Mefiabase top 40 survey.
Her producer also deserves a staggering amount of credit for not burying her sublime voice behind the instrumentation, and especially when the intensity builds as she thtows herself into the chorus with tons of gusto.
I've been playing this incessantly trying to learn the words as fast as possible.
A downright astonishing piece of music from a very promising newcomer, and I hope radio gets on board ASAP in spite of the recent deluge of new songs from several format heavy hitters.

Based on her interview with the Tennessean, as well as history regarding how emerging artists are portrayed at these shows, my impression is that the ACM producers really wanted her to do "Love Me Like You Mean It," and there was no way she would be allowed to sing Peter Pan without incorporating her breakthrough single. Frankly, I wouldn't be surprised if including Nick Jonas was part of a compromise she made with producers. - While it certainly wasn't "necessary" from a musical standpoint, I personally think the Jonas inclusion was a best case scenario. He played a guitar solo and essentially did background vocals on the final chorus. They didn't give him his own verse or, worse, incorporate one of his songs (the way they did with Dan + Shay last year). This was pretty much just Nick Jonas using his recognition/star power to give Kelsea a "rub."

It did seem odd to me that she would sing even a little bit of LM instead of just letting the complete focus be on PP; especially when it turned out Nick wasn't going to sing a song of his own. I admit to being naive at times, but hearing that the ACMs wanted to dictate what she sang really pisses me off! The idea that despite the banner year she's had, she still had to fight to get to sing her new song just seems so unfair. That also explains why Cam probably sang BH instead of Mayday.

The idea that despite the banner year she's had, she still had to fight to get to sing her new song just seems so unfair. That also explains why Cam probably sang BH instead of Mayday. I think the thing with this is that artists who have already "made it big" like Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, and Blake Shelton, etc. can get away with performing a new song because they're already a high-profile act and their new releases are likely to sell a lot and get a lot of airplay right out of the gate. When you get someone like Cam or Kelsea Ballerini performing, it makes sense to at least incorporate a recognizable hit into what their doing so people watching can be like "oh, I know who that is," because I'm sure there's a lot of people who were watching who either didn't know who she was or wouldn't have made the connection that the girl singing this "Peter Pan" song with Nick Jonas is the one who had the hit with "Love Me Like You Mean It." It just helps with brand association honestly, and because of that I had no qualms about her starting with a snippet of her breakthrough hit, even if to us it may not have seemed necessary. The fact that she got to perform at all, whether it took incorporating her big hit at the beginning or including a featured act from outside the genre, should be seen as a blessing, imo. (And as an aside, that stuff applies to Cam, too. "Mayday" might've made more than a few people go "who is this? what is this song?" and while that would've probably been good for that song more directly if people checked it out based on the performance, I'm sure it was more beneficial to remind a big audience of her as the "Burning House" songstress. Also, she was nominated for multiple awards for that one too, so it made a little more sense to sing that one for those reasons as well.)

I like the song, and I remember many of you saying this needed to be released as a single when the album came out. I think it's a good song, but that's only recently. I think there's no too much of a climax, and it's just a nice ballad. The video certainly helped me change my mind from filler song to nice song. Still, I really wanted (and still want) XO to be the next single <3
