Looks like this is getting held to a second week at #2 this week. I wonder if it will continue to climb for another week, or if Warner will be satisfied and let it go. I imagine that they'll try to get it to #1, but we'll see. He does have a decent lead over Jason Aldean (and the especially Brett Young and FGL/Tim behind him), so it's entirely possible that Cole gets his turn at the top. Jason's label published an Ad on last CountryAircheck that they will push in the week 13-21 november; he will co hosts CC Countdown next week, Cole co hosted this week and i think after Move's peak, Cole will have an easy #1 on both the charts.

No surprise. Warner will max for #1 with "Middle Of A Memory" this week. Broken Bow already stated in Country Aircheck that they will max starting this upcoming Sunday, so it looks like the next two weeks will be chalk -- Cole, then Jason.

This week Cole Swindell lands his sixth #1 single with "Middle Of A Memory," which hit #1 Billboard/Country Airplay and #1 Mediabase/Country Aircheck.
Each of Cole's six singles spanning the past three years has reached #1: Off COLE SWINDELL is "Chillin' It," "Hope You Get Lonely Tonight," "Ain't Worth The Whiskey," and "Let Me See Ya Girl" ... and off YOU SHOULD BE HERE is "You Should Be Here" and "Middle Of A Memory."
Cole's current album YOU SHOULD BE HERE is so strong that any of the songs on the album could be a single. As Jim Asher states in his "On The Charts" column in the November 14, 2016 issue of Billboard Country Update: "His [Cole's] album (YOU SHOULD BE HERE) is incredible; they could easily choose the next single by throwing a dart at the track listing."
Cole co-wrote all six of his #1 singles. "Middle Of A Memory" co-writers are Cole Swindell, Ashley Gorley, and Zach Crowell.
On October 9, Cole was named Songwriter/Artist Of The Year 2016 by the Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI) during its 46th Annual Hall Of Fame Gala, Music City Center, Nashville TN. Cole was performing on tour that night, but yesterday personally accepted his award at the NSAI board meeting.

"Broke Down" is a huge radio hit waiting to happen. It's also the best song on the album by far.

Next Single - The suspense is killing me. We will know soon.
We know that "Broke Down" (Songwriters Cole Swindell, Michael Carter, Ashley Gorley) will definitely be one of the singles, but we do not know when it will be selected, and there are many amazing songs.
Many factors probably impact the order of single selection, including: Artist's Preference Lyric Strength Timing for Award Shows Song Themes (like avoiding consecutive singles with similar themes) Song Tempo (possibly varying consecutive song tempos) Song Strength (order to get bounce from one strong single to the next single) Songwriters Collaborations Season of the year Financial factors

As "Middle of Memory" and "Broke Down" has a similar structure in my opinion I think Cole will pick an uptempo one and then later "Broke Down" becomes the single.

Either Flatliner or No Can Left Behind will be the next single. Still undecided but it will be one of the two uptempo numbers followed by Broke Down.

Flatliner would make more sense since Cole is touring with Dierks, but hell if they do No Can Left Behind that'd sure be alright with me. Awesome throwback feel. But alas I'm betting on Flatliner unfortunately.

If they don't want to go with "Broke Down", then why not "Stars"? It's uptempo and catchy, perfect radio filler for Cole.

I agree if they want to go for an uptempo side now "Flatliner" and "No Can Left Behind" have pretty good chances.About "Stars" I am not sure about becoming single after "Middle Of A Memory".

I love all of Cole's songs, and another single possibility--one of my favorite--is "Making My Way To You" (Songwriters Cole Swindell, Michael Carter, Matt Dragster, and Cole Taylor). Co-writer Cole Taylor is among the openers on Cole's current headlining DOWN HOME Tour 2016.
Will Cole choose "Flatliner" featuring Dierks Bentley (Songwriters Cole Swindell, Jaron Boyer, Matt Brownleewe), being that he is opening for Dierks' WHAT THE HELL Tour 2017? It is hard to say, but my guess is that Dierks will not take the stage to sing the song with Cole during Cole's opener, but Cole could join Dierks to sing the song during Dierks' performance, though I think the guys prefer, for logistics, to keep their performances within their own shows. Cole has been singing "Flatliner" during the Florida Georgia Line DIG YOUR ROOTS Tour 2016 and during his current headlining DOWN HOME Tour 2016, so it could be the next single.
"Stars" is a strong possibility though it is not a Cole Swindell co-write (Songwriters Ben Payslip, Chase McGill), which may not matter.
I will be happy with whichever song is chosen. They are all special.

For what it's worth, Dierks always brings his openers out for a performance during his set, and then typically the encore as well.
That said, Flatliner sucks so yeah can we not. Bad enough I have to sit through Cole live.

Bad enough I have to sit through Cole live. I will attend the Dierks Bentley's show to see Cole Swindell, and there will be many Cole Swindell fans who will do likewise. This will be my first Dierks Bentley show. Dierks has some great music, and I understand his shows are strong, so Dierks' WHAT THE HELL Tour will be fabulous! WINNING!

Can't get the station details working on All Access (go figure, right?), but I see 26 new spins from one station for "No Can Left Behind."

I genuinely won't mind that being the next single, as it was one of the best singles on the album. I still hope "Flatliner" gets released but overall if "No Can Left Behind" gets released I will be genuinely happy.

I really hope neither Flatliner nor No Can . . . get released. This album and the singles so far have shown a broader range/perspective of Cole, and I hope it continues. Any track 3-10 would suffice.

Either Flatliner or No Can Left Behind will be the next single. Still undecided but it will be one of the two uptempo numbers followed by Broke Down. As stated nine days ago by winstonmurdock, Cole's third single off YOU SHOULD BE HERE will be either "Flatliner" featuring Dierks Bentley or "No Can Left Behind" ... followed by "Broke Down" as the fourth single. Two days ago sabre14 discovered 26 spins for "No Can Left Behind," and this week Mediabase had one radio add for the song. No decision/announcement has been made; however, based on Cole's joining Dierks Bentley on the WHAT THE HELL Tour 2017 and based on information from two separate sources, I believe that the new single will be "Flatliner," the album's strong upbeat opener. The "flatliner" metaphor is unique; the lyrics have memorable hooks; the song is upbeat, a great sing-along, and perfect for radio; and the collaboration with Dierks enhances the song. Cole's voice has an amazing ease, country pronunciation, and authenticity which is endearing and makes you smile. On Oct 15, while standing in line at Joe's Live for the Tucker Beathard show, I asked a young lady in line who her favorite country music singer was. The lady said, "Cole Swindell." She paused, then added, "Sweetheart." Aw! I smiled and nodded in agreement. Yes, fans adore Cole, and his shows are SOLD OUT. For the upcoming music video, I hope that the videographer ADHERES to the song lyrics ... and that the video features a truly beautiful actress--a knockout--as the Flatliner, as well as someone who has good chemistry with Cole. This song is a great choice! ... and ... if a different song is selected, I could make a case for any of them! Right now, we are still celebrating "Middle Of A Memory."

The choices for Cole´s next singles are really fine by me. Lynne I´ve always thought Cole as a sweetheart one and it might sound a bit "silly" but I sent him a question on "Ask Anything from Bobby Bones" when he was releasing the album and he answered me so attentive that it really made my day because it was special to have my question answered like that. ;)

KCYY in San Antonio and WWKA in Orlando has spun "Flatliner" 50 combined times over the past seven days. It sure looks like the collaboration with Dierks is next.

Not a done deal just yet, but yes, it appears that Flatliner will be the next single.

The new single MAY be released after the Christmas holidays, which works, especially with radio continuing to spin fairly heavily "Middle of a Memory." I love that song.
Cole Swindell has had a stellar year! The highlight is his sophomore album YOU SHOULD BE HERE, which is exceptional. For an artist to deliver an album with 12 amazing songs--no filler--is an incredible gift to fans ... and it sets the bar High down the road for Studio Album #3. I was encouraged to hear Cole say recently that he is UP for the challenge! Fortunately Cole is highly talented and has an amazing team.
So ... the next single off YOU SHOULD BE HERE might be "Flatliner" (Track #1), but what a challenge to choose! I love them all, including "Stars," "Up," "Making My Way to You," "Home Game" ... and on it goes! The wait for the new single might be until 2017.

I saw a Facebook live from him yesterday and they streamed "Flatliner" so I thought it was curious and an indication for a new single.
