I fully expected Idol to not have Kelly in any of the promos, besides that super quick clip of her and Justin, so it doesn't really bother me. What makes it so obvious though is the listing of the "superstars" and she's not there. They made it worse for themselves in that regard. On the other hand, it's probably also not a coincidence that The Voice is plastering Kelly everywhere in promoting this next season. I don't recall them pushing one of the new coaches out there to this degree in previous years and I can't lie, I'm loving it. Changing gears, it appears that she's recorded "American Woman" for something fuckyeahkellyclarkson.tumblr.com/post/170839827970/dont-let-me-stop-you-a-new-song-of-kelly

For no real reason at all other than sheer boredom, here's how many plays (and the % increase) each MOL track has received over the past two days on Spotify:
Love So Soft 202,035 I Don't Think About You 39,710 Heat 36,509 Meaning of Life 27,688 Whole Lotta Woman 26,908 Medicine 21,946 Move You 18,087 Would You Call That Love 13,114 Slow Dance 12,553 Didn't I 12,312 Go High 12,275 Cruel 11,832 Don't You Pretend 10,521 A Minute (Intro) 8,033

So every single song has had at least a 57% increase? Am I reading that right?
Edit: I didn't even pay attention to the % symbol on the end. I figured I had to move the decimal to get the percent. Those are ridiculously small increases. I assumed everything had big gains and that's why it was being shared. lol

Heat and WYCTL have had no major promo yet. I think that list is telling!

I would assume anything she is recording at the moment is in prep for The Voice.

She has recorded a cover of American Woman. Don’t know what this could be for... Could it be for the tv show American Woman on the Paramount Network produced and created by Kyle Richards of the Housewives?

Kelly did a FB live performance of IDTAY this morning. She also mentioned performing the song on a show in a couple of weeks with her BGVs. She was solo for the one with only Jason on piano. She mentioned the tour and that they're not announcing yet but that it is coming and that she's been approving dates already. Working around The Voice she said.

She sounded SO good on the FB live performance. The key was still a step down, but the tempo was definitely better from what she'd done previously--she evened it out from verse to chorus and it doesn't sound much slower than the original. The way they did it before made the chorus drag a bit. She said it was weird to sing without the background singers but I thought it sounded beautiful stripped down to just her and piano.

Yeah, love how she sounds on this live. The verses are especially pretty.

Todrick Hall covered "Medicine" as part of the NBC/The Voice partnership. Definitely the most high-profile cover thus far. Kinda a shame all these resources went into a cancelled single.

Surprised to see this added to her Vevo page yesterday. We've heard better vocals from her obviously, but I've always loved this performance, especially the very beginning and the end. So much personality and sass. Such a popstar.

IDTAY is sitting in the top 40 on HAC at 37. Has had some decent bullets for that chart the last few days. Hopefully continues the nice trend.

Piece By Piece (Album) - 284k copies with Gold Heartbeat Song - 909k with Platinum Invincible - ( Unknown ) Piece By Piece - 813k without any certificates Piece By Piece should be certified as Gold at least by RIAA. RCA never cares of her on record certification...

I wonder how long before MOL is certified Gold. How many albums has it sold? According to a WW-Sales-Tracker-Twitter-Account (data taken from official WW chart sources), it has sold around 300k WW so far - 170k of them in the US. (It would take too long to find it again, but the number is legit) Not bad considering LSS... flopped. The album did as much as PBP did at the same point, even though HBS had moderate success.

It had invincible somewhere in the 100k-199k range but I don’t remember the exact number. Put its on par with sober & all I ever wanted :/

I'm still surprised at Invincible's lack of success. I didn't expect it to be super popular but it didn't even chart on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
