Panda isn't a pop song.

Since this is where albums are discussed, I presume my post about the most recent Kidz Bop album belongs in Chart Discussion? I think so.

Take a look at the NOW collections released in 2003 and 2004.

No, no it's not. It's for what's popular. "Panda" was a multi-week #1, so it has every right to be on the compilation.

Nice to see "My Church" getting some recognition by being included.

I knew this would have either Panda or CSTF, the former if only because Watch Me was on Now 56. But I didn't think both would; I thought they would save one for Now 60. And since Cheap Thrills is expected by several to be the next new #1, we'll have to find out what Now 60 may end up with.

Since this is where albums are discussed, I presume my post about the most recent Kidz Bop album belongs in Chart Discussion? I think so. Only reason I post the Now compilation threads in chart discussion is because the songs are chosen based off on how well they do on the charts. Which answers your other question: Panda is on the compilation because it did very well on the charts and I even heard it on my local pop station a few times. And I assume the reason why twenty one pilots is not on here is due to the label or artist not wanting it to be featured. It's the same reason why Rihanna hasn't been on a Now compilation since Cheers.

Likely due to label restrictions. Also, you noticed Panda, but not My Church? At least Panda had significant airplay on pop radio. My Church is thoroughly a country song. The Now series is not one genre, it's whatever songs are recent hits that the record labels will let them put on these compilation discs. Plus the new up next section sometimes has non-pop songs.
