• OMG, are you serious?! Love Yourself is still here?!?! Another week where no actual oldies leave the countdown. Me, Myself & I and 7 Years need to beat it, too.
• It seems pretty clear that Britney won't make the Top 20 for her third consecutive try. I blame Mike Posner.
• Tinie Tempah finally returns, but of course, he won't last long.
• Scars To Your Beautiful is making a little progress. Maybe it will do as good as Wild Things did.
• I hope Hymn For The Weekend continues to rise. For now, I want it to at least make the Top 20.
• It's been a while since I've heard Some Nights on the show. After that, the overplayed She Will Be Loved is an optional extra.
• Now that I think of it, AT40 should introduce a Remember This? segment. Ryan plays a song that practically made at least the Top 20 or whatnot a couple years back, and gives a little information about it.
• It is a surprise that Major Lazer deprived Adele of her fifth #1 song. Eh, Send My Love doesn't fit well at that spot to me.
• When was the last time five songs were tied for the biggest drop? Even though three is relatively a low number.

Not that much chart movement this week, with the biggest upward mover moving six notches, and five songs tied for "biggest" dropper of only three steps. Among them is "Ride", which along with "Cool Water" does a now-unusual flip-flop between #4 and #1 (this type of move was more common at times in the past, especially in AT40's Hot 100 era.) 2-3 and 5-6 also reverse positions.

Nothing against "Love Yourself", but seven months after it was #1, and after six weeks of 37-38-39-40-40-40, it's time for the vaudeville hook already. By hanging on this week, though, it does allow Justin Bieber to "bookend" the countdown with the first and last songs, along with a third almost right in the middle.

That's what everybody said back in May when Lukas Graham hit #1 instead of Mike Posner, but then Mike hit #1 the following week. My point is that it's too early to make that statement and be accurate.

Cold Water seems to be #1 next week too. This was also happened with Ride with its 2nd week last week, instead of Cheap Thrills. Then Cheap Thrills collapsed this week and not getting its #1 back. Cold Water may hold #1 for awhile before Closer takeover.

I will be glad if Adele still manages to get #1 next week, but I wouldn't count on it. Seeing as how "Cold Water" only got one week atop the Mediabase chart, would that get a second week? Twenty One Pilots did so, I don't know.
