This was the first single from 2013's Settle. It peaked at #11 in the UK, #3 at CHR/pop and #7 on the Hot 100. Surprisingly, it went to top 10 at US urban and urban ac radio. This song is excellent. One of my favorites of the decade.

Love this to this day, one of my favorite tracks of the new millennium. It's disappointing to think about how dull most of Sam Smith's subsequent music has been.

I love this song, the production is incredible and Smith's vocals work very well with electronica. Sucks he's still making dull midtempo ballads instead of uptempo stuff like this, it fits him very well. Definitely the best thing he'll ever touch.
Most EDM songs don't have much personality, but this one does. It's such a strange song. Anyways, as it was a big summer song in 2014 listening to this on the radio while driving with the windows down on a summer night is amazing.

This is really the only Sam Smith song I enjoy, other than Promises. I prefer this over his ballads.

Easily the best thing Sam Smith has ever released. Him & Disclosure seriously hit this one out of the park. I still get this great feeling every time I hear this song. Sam sounds great and the production is amazing. Anyways, as it was a big summer song in 2014 listening to this on the radio while driving with the windows down on a summer night is amazing. Radio ate this song up in 2014. Power 106, 97.1 AMP, KIIS FM, KJLH and Real 92.3 all played it. It’s rare that a house record crossover to urban radio.
