Given how long it took Iβm surprised there is a fourth single. He shouldβve released it in November before his TV special.

I think this and Filthy will have a No. 1 and No. 2 debut on the same week. This being 1 most likely.

Man, I'm just happy we are getting new music. I cannot wait for JT, Bruno, and Cardi to wipe Camila, Ed Sheeran, and Post Malone from the top.

imho performance at the Grammys is in the bag :kii: Yeah I think this would be a great opener for the show. NUMBER ONE ON APPLE MUSIC!!! The streaming service, or on iTunes? It's showing at #1 on iTunes, but Kworb has this at #83 on Apple Music (the streaming service) (Bartier Cardi is #1 there). Entered at #35 on Spotify as well and it should see a big jump tomorrow.

But yeah, this is #1 on Apple Music's page itself. kworb.net/charts/apple_s/us.html

This is so early 90s in all the right ways!!!! Reminds me of Salt-N-Pepa and TLC.
Even Cardi B's voice reminds me of Left-Eye a little

As a huge fan of the original one from the album, I will say I like this one, definitely. Although I still like the Bruno solo version more. Cardi B doesn't contribute too much to the song overall, and arguably my favorite part from the solo version - the "yeah we got it going on, got it going on" bit - doesn't sound quite as good with her. Even so, I will never say it's a bad remix.
Video's pretty cool, too. B)

I cannot stop watching the video. It's like my entire childhood wrapped up with a bow tie in 3 minutes!!! It gives me SWV, TLC, Bobby Brown, BBD, Shai etc. Music from 1991-1994 is the highlight from the 90s.

You know, it really speaks volumes how well received "Finesse" and "That's What I Like" have been across the board; people miss this R&B music! I pray the success of these singles will usher in a new era of less trap/hip hop influenced R&B. It was a slow process over the years but I feel that hip hop really did a number on the R&B genre . I miss these songs I can groove and smile to...

I know they like to push the false, and lazy narrative of female singers as being the next MARIAH legend Carey, but I see Bruno as the closet thing to Mariah since 1990s Mariah. His melodic ear his versatile as in he will take a ballad to #1 just the same as uptempo, he has a ear for pop catchy earworms, he borrowed from different eras and meshes music of many genres. The man much like his mama miss Carey and daddy Miss Jackson is a f**king musical genious.
Love him! He is winning. He makes me feel good and he does it so effortless and doesn't need controversy to sell bitch!

I'm not sure how I managed to basically ignore this from the album release until the release of this remix, at which point I've suddenly grown to like it so much that I probably played it eight times today. "Hit the Lil Jon 'okaaay! okaaay!'" Kicking off Q1 on the right foot.

You know when the MV for Finesse dropped, it just hit me - Bruno delivered an album era. True to the core album era, when things go naturally and have their own flow, and it's just fine... When an album release isn't all about hype or big opening numbers, and great peaks on charts. Things like that aren't that hard to achieve, but they don't mean much in the long run. For god's sake it's already 2018, yet people are completely losing it because Bruno dropped a video for the 4th single from that 'lil album he released in 2016. In the meantime it went 2xplat and he launched his biggest tour to date and got his biggest solo hit yet, but so what....people are all about Finesse. He's so sneaky though...he made people believe this era is coming to end, waited it out and then dropped the bomb. Somehow he understands that longevity is the key.

Like I had to actually pull out the physical album to see the copyright date because my mind REFUSED to believe he (or anybody) released a smash hit 4th single in 2018 for an album that came out in 2016. Granted itβs only been a little over a year, but album cycles are fairly short these days. Most artists burn through 4 singles in less than a year. This song should go well into the spring - like I wanted it to last year.

I loved the way you ended your post. I agree 100% with it. I actually think he's incredibly underrated considering his talent and the huge amount of success he has. Bruno is not an artist about hype and he has always been about delivering... it seems like it always takes a while for people to be completely onboard until they actually listen to the songs and see how great they are. Aside from that, I love how much he just trusts his work 100%, not because he believes he's being a game changer or this artistic god, but because he's doing the music that really represents him, and the music he wants to be singing on tour for 2 years... I believe that's also key to success, we as an audience believe him, it never comes off as "try-hard" or insincere. I've read a lot about some people on the internet questioning his success with the African American comunity (not being African American himself), and I think that has a lot to do with it (speaking as an outsider, of course lol)
