This girl has got a great team behind her. She has gotten great promo spots, features in songs and all these sponsorships already. Plus opening for Bruno Marrs. Is she the only opener??? I love "OMG" and really like "Havanna". "Cryin In The Club" was pretty good too but I'm enjoying these 2 songs a lot more along with her Major lazer ft.

She's certainly not making milions with any of her deals. She could even be doing all of it for free just to get some exposure. Not a bad idea. Let's see where this takes her.

I don't think anyone would do it for free. One has to work these deals and endorsements to their advantage. I think some of her music should be put into the ads and stuff so that's additional exposure for her music. I don't know if they already did it for the GUESS campaign, but the instrumental sounded like something that could be hers.

Plus opening for Bruno Marrs. Is she the only opener??? Yes, she is. I think she's only going to be opening for him for a couple more weeks and then Dua Lipa starts her opening stint. Get them coins, Camila.

"Crying in the Club" was removed from Spotify's Today's Top Hits playlist this week. "OMG" and "Havana" were added.

We had an alleged tracklisting making the rounds last week for Selena Gomez now we have an alleged one for Camila. I feel like every one of the Pop gurls at some point has had a song on their alleged album tracklistings called "Tea" and no one has every actually had one.

Not sure I believe that she got that many tracks LOL. Maybe they are some interludes a la Janet Jackson? I like a well-crafted interlude. " Speaker Phone" is still everything I just thought there are way too many high profile features. Miss Vogue Meets: Camila Cabelloby NAOMI PIKE Naomi is the Miss Vogue editor and social media manager of Vogue.co.uk Wednesday 16 August 2017 When Camila Cabello looks back on this time in her life, it will be the process of turning her creative ambitions into a musical body of work that will be most prominent in her memories. “I think I’ll remember how I wanted to do something so badly and create a record that I loved and making everything around it too,” she explained to us. “And, how hard I worked to bring that vision to life – and then I did it! What matters to me most right now in the world is making the vision that I have in my head coming to life and carrying it out in every aspect; the live performance part of it, the typography, the cover art, everything. That’s kind of what I’m focused on right now”. The Hurting. The Healing. The Loving – Camila’s debut solo album is due for release in September. While not her first – she previously released two as part of the X-Factor-assembled girl band Fifth Harmony – this does mark the first time the body of work will bare only her name. “I feel like it’s just me in sound form,” she enthused. “There’s this consistent Caribbean Island and Latin thing going on, as well as a lot of my hip hop and singer-songwriter influences. Basically, every part of me that makes me me is on there.” One of the benefits of being solo is the freedom that you’re granted, not only in the music created but performing it too. “I feel it’s so different to what I did with the group”, she says of rehearsing for both her own tour and supporting Bruno Mars’s. “I’m still dancing but it’s less choreographed. I’m so much freer. I can jump off the drums if I want to. I can rock out with my guitar player, I can do whatever and then I can jump back into the dancing. It’s really really fun and I love interacting with the crowd and making it feel like it’s a really personal connection. I’m excited to be able to do shows on my own.” Naturally, as a one-woman vehicle, it does mean that the Cuban-born star does have to make all the decisions, something that can be hard to manage when you’re a self-confessed perfectionist. “I feel like I need to have every detail the way that I want it. It’s a heavier workload because there’s always something that needs to be decided, something that can be improved, or another idea that could be written. There’s a part of me that’s addicted to getting things better and sometimes I have to remind myself to take a break and just be 20.” In the current climate we live in, it’s not enough to exist as a popstar with a killer soundtrack and a signature look, stars are expected to be vocal on issues affecting themselves and their fanbases, be voiced advocates of positive change and share insights into their own lives that go beyond the usual protocol of celebrity privacy. As the child of American immigrants, Camila has become a role model – an often touted around phrase – and not only for those from Latino communities. “I’m more than comfortable with it,” she says of sharing her own story. “I’m super proud of it and where I come from, and what my family has done. I’m super proud of my culture, and everybody who has a similar story and I think the point of any community in the world is sharing stories, because then other people don’t feel alone, or they can relate to you – they feel like they identify with you somehow. So yeah, I’m super comfortable talking about it.” So, what does being a role model right now mean to Camila? “I think it’s somebody that uses their platform in the right way. To spread love, to share the things that they’re passionate about and to be themselves, whoever that may be. It’s just crazy to me when people who have huge platforms just use it to fight on Twitter and spread negativity. I feel like there’s just so many things going on in the world that deserve our attention, you can spread love whether your platform is just the sidewalk that you’re walking on that day or to followers on social media. I think spreading kindness and spreading love is what everybody should do”. Her own relationship with social media is a tumultuous one. When it came to creating her album, Camila decided that she’d spend less time checking in on her mentions as it would have impacted her writing process. “I barely even go on Twitter anymore”, she admits. “When I do and I look at what people are saying, it might feel addictive in the moment, but I always feel horrible after. It leaves you with a bad taste in your mouth. Sometimes, I have bad dreams at night. It affects you subconsciously even when you’re not aware of it so I try not to do it. When I was making the album, I wasn’t on Twitter. The music would’ve come out differently, because everything is changed by context, whether it’s in the day or the night, who are your friends at the time, relationships at the time, what are you listening too, whether you’re looking at what people are saying about you on the internet or not. I feel like that would’ve made it a more self-conscious process for me, but I totally forgot that people were going to listen to it at all. I felt really free and I could make the songs that I want to make.” That’s not to say that Camila doesn’t know that there is an overwhelming support from her fan base. “They make me feel really confident and I feel supported in the decisions I make because I feel like there’s a lot of people that love me for me and who I am, so I feel excited when I get to put my music out and when I get to go on tour, and when I get to do stuff that makes other people happy.” Making the decision to exit Fifth Harmony was a big decision for the then teen to make. Stepping out on her own, going against the grain in favour of what felt right for her has been an important lesson to those that follow her every move. “It’s so scary to do something new and different. I think it’s the scariest decision not necesarily just in my position but for everybody is to be able to go against the grain and go against what’s safe and decide to do something that’s the risky option”, she insists. “It makes me so sad when I see people who just stay in one place their whole lives and they’re sad or bored or uninspired or unhappy and they don’t do anything about it because they’re afraid. That’s just a waste; it’s just a horrible way to use the years that you have. I think that that’s honestly the biggest thing, when you are afraid of something you can’t let it hold you back.” To manage not only a certain level of success but also a large following – Camila’s tips the scale at around 15 million –you have to be built of certain stuff. The childhood lesson that has become most useful? “Persistence. I think it’s setting your mind to something and not stopping until you get it. I mean, there are a lot of things I’d really love to do, but everything that has led me to this point so far, which is being able to work on what I love to do, I’ve gotten it through just not taking no for an answer and being persistent.” So, 2017. Besides releasing her solo album and seeing that perform well, what else is on her must-do list for the year ahead? “I really want to make out with somebody this year”. www.vogue.co.uk/article/camila-cabello-interview-2017

I had to drag several people from the industry on FB who felt that the only way she got those alleged collaborations and features was to offer herself sexually. I'm like, "Are you Dinah's aunt in disguise?"

MTV has announced that the album will be released at a date later than what was previously announced. No new date was announced.
I am guessing it's on the basis that a followup to "Crying In The Club" hasn't really gotten its footing. The negative nancies at ATRL think the album will be shelved.
Without a new hit single and proper promotion, the album isn't going to have much success.

Anyway, if she can give me something like Nicole's "Killer Love" album, I'm fine with her label shelving the current project.

In last weekend's New York Times, they had an article about albums coming out this fall and they mentioned that the album is due out in October which would make sense if one of the current singles gains traction by then.

"Crying In The Club" was a minor hit. Not including it is ridiculous. I wonder if the title will be changed too.

She better have an actual hit to include on the album before she goes 86’n it.

That was a fantastic performance and I'm glad that the song is gaining traction on the charts. She just needs to release the music video soon and also announce when the album is coming out.

That album list cannot be real All those collabs make it seem super unlikely(since that release date passed)
But if it's by some incredibly slim chance real, then sis is gonna win lots of cash from me for it No way it's real though
