We've pretty much covered every season and holiday except Valentine's Day, so what are some of your favorite go-to sappy love songs for this day? George Strait has quite a few sappy love songs that come to mind ("We Must Be Loving Right," "The Man In Love With You," "Need I Say More," "That's Where I Wanna Take Our Love," "The Night's Just Right For Love," and "When You're In Love"); other artists like Martina McBride, John Michael Montgomery and Alan Jackson have also recorded their fare share of love songs. Anyways, here's a list of songs I have in my playlist for Valentine's:
"All I Do Is Love Her," James Bonamy "Buy Me A Rose," Kenny Rogers w/ Billy Dean and Alison Krauss "Forever Love," Reba "From This Moment On," Shania Twain "I Never Knew Love," Doug Stone "I Wanna Fall In Love," Lila McCann "Just Let Me Fall In Love With You," Joe Nichols "Love Of My Life," Sammy Kershaw "One Night at a Time," George Strait "She's Callin' It Love," Reba "She's In Love with the Boy," Trisha Yearwood "Somebody To Love," Kacey Musgraves "Something In Red," Lorrie Morgan "They're Playin' Our Song," Neal McCoy "Thinkin' About You," Trisha Yearwood "To Be Loved By You," Wynonna "To Make You Feel My Love," Garth Brooks "When Love Finds You," Vince Gill "Words By Heart," Billy Ray Cyrus (if you're thinking of an old love or this holiday just makes you angry lol) "Your Love Amazes Me," John Berry
And my favorite non-country song for Valentine's is "I Could Fall in Love" by Selena.

Just a friendly suggestion: If you're going to do specific themed posts like this, I would start it a week in advance. Starting a thread with eight hours left in the day doesn't give people much time to participate. Thanks.

I see you are operating under the premise that people can no longer post in this thread once Valentine's Day ends. I'm going to post a list tomorrow just to mess with you ;)

If someone wants to post a list a week later, that's fine. I look forward to your list tomorrow.

That reminds me, I left off the following song: "Love Can Go To Hell," Brandy Clark

Let me guess, I can go to hell as well? No, actually I saw Brandy Clark share the song on her Facebook feed "for all the broken hearts on #valentine's day," and since it's one of my favorites by her I thought I'd add it to my playlist :) That being said, I've never taken a moment of my time to publicly critique your posts (that's 0%) and you easily could have PM'd me. You're welcome to add to the discussion by posting your own playlist (but I understand there's only 7 hours left or less than 30% of the holiday remaining, so maybe next year).

They can't because the thread will be locked. The day Pulse makes you a moderator I'm leaving At least I would answer people's questions without locking threads and driving off. Three words for everyone: LANco single thread.

Just condensed it down to twenty initially. Some others I left off: "Only Love," Wynonna "Simple Love," Alison Krauss "The Love in Your Eyes," George Jones "Then for Them," Ricky Van Shelton and another song of vengeance for the brokenhearted: "Out of my Bones," Randy Travis

The day Pulse makes you a moderator I'm leaving At least I would answer people's questions without locking threads and driving off. Three words for everyone: LANco single thread. An appropriate reason to lock a thread: Because someone revived a thread for a song that had long since been dead to post something that could've easily gone somewhere else. An inappropriate reason to lock a thread: Because Valentine's Day is over. Please stop pretending like you're a member of staff, because you aren't.

The day Pulse makes you a moderator I'm leaving At least I would answer people's questions without locking threads and driving off. Three words for everyone: LANco single thread. That was valid. The posts were moved because the song had gone recurrent in November and it's February. I wasn't the one that moved the posts and locked the thread but if someone hadn't, I certainly would've. If you have a problem with it, just PM a staff member. I also have no problem for posters posting their Valentines Day playlists after the February 14th holiday. This is the sub-board. These aren't single threads. This sub-board is meant to be fun and less restrictions. If someone wants to post in this thread in June, we're not going to lock it...that would be incredibly petty. The main forum needs to be only current and very recent current singles, to allow the forum to run smoothly and effectively. I'm actually amazed you cannot see the difference between the "Long Live Tonight" thread and this one. If you'd like to get further explanations, I'm always available for PM's. Thanks.

I'll just list any love song I think I would include in a Valentines Days playlist, regardless if I think they're sappy or not. Oh wait, it's now February 15th, so I can't reply in this thread! lol :)
Brett Young - "In Case You Didn't Know" Jeff Bates - "The Love Song" Joe Nichols - "I'll Wait For You"/"Size Matters (Someday)" Zona Jones - "Two Hearts" Josh Turner - "Time Is Love"/"Lay Low" Gord Bamford - "When Your Lips Are So Close" LANco - "Greatest Love Story" Eli Young Band - "Crazy Girl" Shania Twain - "You're Still The One"/"Forever And For Always" Martina McBride - "My Baby Loves Me" Sara Evans - "I Could Not Ask For More" Dan + Shay - "From The Ground Up" Katrina Elam - "Love Is" Randy Rogers Band - "Kiss Me In The Dark" Shelly Fairchild - "Kiss Me" Gary Allan - "Nothing On But The Radio" Brad Paisley - "Two People Fell In Love"/"Wrapped Around" George Strait - "Blue Clear Sky"
