If the kworb airplay updates are right, Shape of You should have topped Hello's peak airplay audience. It seems unlikely to reach Uptown Funk!'s, although at the current rate of increase it would take Shape of You over 3 weeks to reach that level. My guess is it will reach a peak within the next week or two.

It has started losing airplay on it's main format (Pop), so it won't probably keep increasing much more. It should still keep the airplay #1 for looooooooong time.

Yep. I think it could have more than the #1 weeks that Closer had in Radio Songs, which was 11. The candidate to replace it would be That's What I Like which has less than half of the peak audience. I Don't Wanna Live Forever and Love on the Brain seem to be near their radio audience peaks and I Feel It Coming is not growing that quickly for me to consider it a candidate.

Million Reasons is doing very well. I honestly can see it rising back into the Top 20 soon, though I feel like it won't have enough power to re-enter the Top 10, which isn't too bad. The song already has a Top 5 peak.

Actually, I checked and found out Hello had 172 million all-format audience impressions in its 10th week at #1. That was its peak in radio audience. Meanwhile, Shape of You was reported to have 160 million in audience on Monday, so since we have the kworb and Mediabase reports, I wonder if that make me feel those numbers reported by Billboard vs. the peak audiences are a bit off. Regardless of what the case is, Shape of You, should be getting close to Hello's peak audience, if it hasn't actually surpassed it.

Even if Divide was not released the week before last week, I doubt its position would be that much affected considering most of the debuts from that album debuted in the Bottom 50.

10 weeks minimum for Shape of You at #1?

Millions Reasons did really well after that Superbowl performance, I thought it would perform similar with Piece by Piece after the idol gave it a resurgence. It will stick around for awhile

Water Under the Bridge still does have decent airplay, too bad sales and streaming aint good enough

I hope That's What I Like does better than 24K Magic in airplay

Maroon 5 will score another airplay boosted hit!

Overall, how well is Shape Of You performing in points compared to Thinking Out Loud? If I remember correctly, TOL was quite a strong #2, only being blocked because UF was such a juggernaut. SOY isn't selling as well, but it does have streaming, so are the numbers pretty similar?

WAIT? Is it because of the State Farm Commercial? Billboard posted an article about it, maybe that will give the song a boost enough to get back onto the hot 100! The policies say that they do make exceptions. Sorry I'm way overreacting about this because it is my favorite song ever.

At least the current Hot 100 (look at the other thread mentioning songs that doubled the weekly points), it managed to have more than double that of Bad & Boujee. I would guess Shape of You had comparable points to Thinking Out Loud best weeks (out of the 8 total ones it had at #2) when the former fell to #2. And its weeks at #1 would definitely be much stronger. Another thing to keep in mind, is that Shape of You has become also a larger radio song in both peak position in Radio Songs (#1 vs. #2) as well as having a greater peak audience to date.

Thinking Out Loud was a strong seller in its time, but still it was outsold by more than 50% by Uptown Funk! While SOY's sales don't look impressive by comparison, it has outsold by more than 50% this year's second best selling song (I Don't Wanna Live Forever) and probably will be become in time the last single to sell 2 million for a while. While it hasn't been the best streamer except for last week, it's been a strong competitor and could have been #1 in Streaming Songs sooner had Bad & Boujee's memes not counted toward that song.

We all have been talking about Closer's Top 10 record, but let's talk about how many weeks it may spend in the Top 20/25. It could even possibly beat the 52 week record. I don't expect it to leave the Top 20 until at least mid-May.

After Uptown Funk left the Top 10 in early July, it stayed in the Top 20 until September.

It does look like That's What I Like will be able to reach #5 and Paris #7 in Radio Songs for next week. Except for I Don't Wanna Live Forever, Something Just Like This and Stay, the other songs in green in the latest update are unexpected to me since they're relatively older songs.
