Thread inspired by the key change in the final chorus in RaeLynn's "Lonely Call" that I loved. Goes up a whole step after the bridge going into the last chorus just before the 3 min mark (thanks bboat11 for the further clarification on that!). What are some other examples of songs y'all enjoy with nice key changes? :)

Shane McAnally - "Are Your Eyes Still Blue" (goes up at each chorus)
Lari White - "Take Me" (goes into a LOWER key in the chorus a la "Penny Lane", goes up for the bridge, then down again for the last chorus)
Ty Herndon/Stephanie Bentley - "Heart Half Empty" (goes into a lower key for Stephanie's verse, then up again at the last chorus but still ends up lower than it started)
Lari White/Travis Tritt - "Helping Me Get Over You" (goes into a lower key for Lari's verse)
Conway Twitty - "I'd Love to Lay You Down" (goes lower and lower and lower...)
Oak Ridge Boys - "Elvira" (everyone else goes up, but Sterban's oom-papa-mow-mows drop by an octave)
Alan Jackson - "Remember When" (drops from G to D for the steel/string solo, then up to A for the last verse)
Ronnie Milsap - "Turn That Radio On" (mostly a standard "up a whole step for the chorus", but I like the way that it modulates back down in the middle of the "baby, hold me close" line instead of waiting for the next verse to start)
Reba - "The Night the Lights Went Out in Georgia" (only song I can think of that goes from Dorian to a major key and then back again)
I also like the way that "The Heart Is a Lonely Hunter" by Reba and "What's It to You" by Clay Walker do their key changes in the middle of the last chorus.
While I otherwise find the song deplorable, I do like the key changes in "The Way You Love Me" by Faith Hill: it starts in C, goes up to D for the chorus, then goes up again to E for the last line of the chorus.

On the other hand there's "Summer Nights" by Rascal Flatts. I didn't know it was possible to key-change into a key that's too high for even Gary freakin' LeVox to sing in.

Love love LOVE Martina's power in the "Where Would You Be" key change going into the 3rd chorus I know the song's belting style isn't for everyone, but the use of a key change here is absolutely perfect for the song.

It's great to hear that key changes are still happening, because by listening to today's country; it seems like the concept of changing key signatures (and chord progressions outside of the standard I-vi-IV-V and their variations) in a country song is becoming extinct.
I'll start a list of favorites that have not been mentioned yet:
Martina McBride - "Wrong Again" John Michael Montgomery - "Life's a Dance" Garth Brooks - "The River" Pam Tillis - "Mi Vida Loca (My Crazy Life)" Leann Rimes - "Big Deal" and "One Way Ticket" Diamond Rio - "How Your Love Makes Me Feel" Gary Allan - "The One" Faith Hill - "This Kiss"

For those unfamiliar with Lari White's "Take Me":

This is a cool thread. It took me forever to think of one, but I know there's plenty of these type of songs out there. It usually seems to be the last chorus where the key change occurs.
Joe Diffie - "John Deere Green"
The key changes from G to A during the last chorus. Up one wholetone also seems to be the most common key change (Just like RaeLynn's song).

Another one that I like is "Easy" by Rascal Flatts/Natasha Bedingfield. It goes up from C# minor to E minor halfway through the second verse, which is a very odd spot for a key change.

David Nail "Turning Home" has a really nice change There's no key change in that song. It's in F all the way through.

Came across another one. Brooks & Dunn "Only In America" goes up a semitone from E to F leading into the last chorus.

Found a few more: LeAnn Rimes - debut single "Blue" Tanya Tucker - "Two Sparrows in a Hurricane" Patty Loveless - "I Try to Think About Elvis" Reba - "Is There Life Out There", "Whoever's in New England", "Cathy's Clown", "Does He Love You", "I'd Rather Ride Around With You", and "What Do You Say" (bounces between A-flat for the verses and E-flat for the chorus) Gatlin Brothers - "All the Gold in California" Lorrie Morgan - "Except for Monday" Vince Gill - "When I Call Your Name" and "Look at Us" Little Texas - "My Love" (despite me finding it cheesy) Lonestar - "You Walked In" (G in the verses, moves to C for the pre-chorus, and goes to D for the chorus) Diamond Rio - "That's What I Get For Loving You" and *I think* "Walkin' Away" Travis Tritt - "Tell Me I Was Dreaming" George Strait - "You Look So Good in Love", and "Meanwhile" Kenny Chesney - "Everybody Wants to Go To Heaven" (I know most on here don't like this one and I see why, but the key does change for the final chorus) Alan Jackson - "Wanted" Terri Clark - "Getting There" (much lesser known since it missed the top 40 almost two decades ago, but the key change and chord progressions are pretty unique) The Judds - "Mama, He's Crazy" (verses are in G, chorus starts in C and goes back home to G halfway through) Doug Stone - "Why Didn't I Think of That?" Ten Pound Hammer, I thought "Remember When" went from G to C for steel and strings feature?

Diamond Rio - "That's What I Get For Loving You" and *I think* "Walkin' Away" Correct. Goes from A to D (!) at the chorus, then back down again. Ten Pound Hammer, I thought "Remember When" went from G to C for steel and strings feature? Correct, that was a typo on my part.
