Great gain for That's What I Like in airplay!
Maroon Five is very consistent in airplay, looks like Cold is another potential top 5 in airplay but sales and streaming are weak so it may miss Hot 100 top 10

Maroon 5 will keep on releasing s**t as long as radio plays it.... it's obvious that listeners don't bond with these singles even if they feature the hottest rappers out there (Cold has so far been #25 at best on Spotify, meanwhile Mask Off by Future is #2)

^Ed Sheeran is going to be #1 until May? On the Hot 100 or Airplay? Both are probably true It'd take That's What I Like about 3 weeks to overtake Shape of You with those numbers, but the former will reach a peak soon and the latter's pace of growth is unsustainable over the middle run, so I think it might take close to 4 weeks, unless the latter start to fall hard or the former reaches a peak.

I really hope and believe, that ''That's What I Like'' snaps the #1 spot from Ed. But still, Ed seems not to be going down anytime soon

I just saw on the BDS radio charts website that Shape Of You surpassed Bad Blood for the highest spins. I don't think Billboard said sth about it, though. I'd have loved if Alessia Cara's Here was at the top but SOY is way better than BB.

They did mention that Shape of You surpassed the 170 million radio audience, first song since Hello to do so.

Anyone think Something Just Like This has a shot at hitting #1? Only after Shape Of You would have died out That's obvious. =) But do you think it could get there? Do you think it's a great song? Does it have enough momentum streaming/sales/airplay? It's easily my favorite song out right now.

Only after Shape Of You would have died out That's obvious. =) But do you think it could get there? Do you think it's a great song? Does it have enough momentum streaming/sales/airplay? It's easily my favorite song out right now. I really don't see it ever getting there. It's definitely a hit, don't get me wrong, but it doesn't show any signs of being able to hit the top spot on the Hot 100. It could, however, reach the summit of the pop airplay chart. It has a very strong bullet, is seeing healthy gains, and is coming off the success of four top five hits in a row. Its main competition there will be "Stay" and "That's What I Like" depending on the latter's longevity at the top. It could also face problems from "The One," because if its starts taking off in airplay, it, "Something Just Like This," and "Paris," which is still seeing healthy gains at number five, could all cannibalize each other. As far as the Hot 100 goes, the streaming and sales just aren't there for it to hit the top spot. It's lagging in sales behind "Shape of You" and "That's What I Like," with neither of those appearing to really be letting up anytime soon. Now they could discount it, which would undoubtedly help and possibly even push it to number one on iTunes, but then there's streaming. Again, it's not flopping there by any means, but it's just not enough to reach the summit either. Excluding all of the Drake tracks, there's eight songs ahead of it on Spotify, and it's pretty stationary with its numbers. It's not really showing signs of getting stronger on Spotify, so it'll probably max out not much higher than where it currently is. We should probably start to look at Drake's "Passionfruit" as a threat too, since it seems to be holding well in sales and streaming and looks like it'll take off on airplay too. "Portland" is also holding well and could potentially pose a threat if it takes off in airplay as well. "Something Just Like This" is also not doing well on YouTube. Granted, it doesn't have a music video yet, but neither did "Closer" until really late into its run and "Closer" was still dominating YouTube. I'd predict that SJLT can creep its way as high as the top three on the Hot 100 in the coming weeks, but I just don't see it ever reaching number one. My best estimates for future number ones are "That's What I Like" almost undoubtedly reaching the top spot within the next month and it being replace by either a Drake track or something not yet released/charting.

So I see that That's What I Like finally reached #2 according to kworb's radio update from 2 days ago. Down and iSpy also got big gains with ***.

In the revealing of the top 10 last week, Billboard said that Shape Of You only got 171m audience. And that's what I like 103m only. Smh rn

Smh rn If your issue is the difference between the audience figures reported in this thread and those reported by Billboard, it's because of differing data collection methodologies between Mediabase (which kworb uses and is typically reported in threads like these) and Nielsen (which Billboard uses).

Thanks for clearing that up. A similar issue can be seen in the numbers reported for streaming of songs, pure album sales and SPS for albums by Hits Daily Double which uses data from BuzzAngle, while Billboard also uses data from Nielsen, which creates the difference in the data there as well.

Where do you all think Kendrick's new single will debut? It's been performing excellently thus far. Hard to tell without seeing any streaming or airplay numbers yet. Sales wise, it's got "That's What I Like" and "Shape of You" both down to roughly 50%. Unfortunately, in the latest update, "HUMBLE." went red. A light red, but still red, which could signal that it won't hold the lead for very long. If this update is just a fluke and it does hold well, we could be seeing sales around 125-150k. If it falls like "The Heart Part 4," then the sales could lean more towards 75-90k or even less depending on how hard it falls. I'm hoping for the first numbers. Streaming wise, he should debut well on Spotify. "The Heart Part 4" has pulled in 5 million streams from Spotify and I expect "HUMBLE." to pull in even more than that with it having a more broad appeal and it being the official single. So, let's say, 6-8 million. "HUMBLE." also has a video, so that should really help! The video looks to be getting quite a bit of buzz too, so maybe another 5 million or so off of that? Airplay is the guessing game, though. I just don't know what it's going to do there. Will urban and rhythmic both jump right on it? Will pop give it some curiosity spins? I just don't know. My rough estimate would be 10 million in AI. All that considered, top ten looks pretty promising, with top five even within reach!

I think Top 10 is pretty much guaranteed now for Kendrick. #2 on Spotify, it's still hasn't gone dark red yet on kworb with a massive lead, and the YouTube numbers are huge too. In fact, I think Top 5 could be happening now.

It's actually #1 on Spotify. There's another version below the top 100 and combined it's #1!

It's actually #1 on Spotify. There's another version below the top 100 and combined it's #1! I bet america accounts for most of Kendrick's video views right? Then if his streaming figure holds up it could be looking at 40-50 million streams! And with 80-110k sales, it totals up 40,000 points next week and that's a no-brainer #3 and may even up to #2!
