This is pretty good, but not near the heights of Rubberband.
Favorites:
Call You Up Please People Please Cut Your Groove Beginning of Things Old Times Sake I-55 Southern By The Grace of God
I liked the concert version of Birthday Suit but they screwed up the studio version bad.

This is a very solid effort by Charlie. I just saw him live here in Austin with Brandy Clark and he's really the "Ed Sheeran" of country music...it was an acoustic set but you wouldn't have guessed it based on all his tricks. Before performing "Cut Your Groove" he mentioned that it was a performance at a local place here in Austin that led him to write that song and that it helped him to continue on with his music career just as he was wondering if it was all worth it. "Birthday Suit" and "Take Me Drunk" were both two of the standout tracks performed live. On a side note...I got to hang out with Charlie later after the show and have to say he's one of the nicest guys. My friend and I took a shot of a local vodka with him before we ended the night and he said he had to get to bed to make is early morning flight

I saw him with Brandy a few weeks ago and both of them were acoustic and fantastic. They both have amazing voices and did a great job with their sets. Would love to see both of them get a little more recognition and possibly actually be played on the radio!
