I defy anyone to find a better vocal performance than "You Lie" in this year, or even this decade. Reba absolutely killed this song, her best vocal ever! It was robbed!

The Grammys have never been big on Reba, for whatever reason. I agree, she definitely should have won for "You Lie". Amazing song and performance.

I think in the end Reba 'won' cause she's still here True, but Reba's vocal kills me every time. This is one of my all time favorite Reba songs. Sorry, this is one I just won't get over, haha! The injustice to "You Lie" is too large. |

"Where've You Been" is a country classic, so Mattea's win here isn't a bad one. She won the CMA Female Vocalist award that year (and "Where've You Been" was nominated for Single). "Where've You Been" also won the ACM for Song.
