I think he means that Ryan now hosts AT40 from New York because he is the new co-host of "Live With Kelly". AT40 was mostly recorded in Hollywood, but I guess not anymore.

1. It's "Live with Kelly & Ryan" now.

2. Given that Seacrest usually records AT40 during the week, it's assumed he'll be doing the shows from New York for as long as he's on "Live!"

A radio studio is being built for Ryan right next to the "Live" TV studio. He'll use that for American Top 40, On Air With Ryan Seacrest, and the KIIS morning show.

It appears the iHeart AT40 channel has updated Ryan's voicetrack for the new show but is still playing the music from the old. So Ryan is introducing the wrong songs. This as of late afternoon on Thursday, May 4.

The intro of the show will have to change. They say "broadcasting worldwide from the heart of Hollywood".

I am listening to the show now, from the computer version, and that seems to be straightened out. They are now playing the right songs at #21,#20 and #19.

They fixed it at what has become their normal update time. Friday at 9 a.m. ET.

Not yet. Seacrest even said he was in Hollywood in the intro (maybe he recorded what needed to be recorded before moving to New York?).

BTW I'm surprised AT40 didn't go with a Top 3 Final segment with Bruno Mars being interviewed ("That's What I Like" is #3 on this week's Hot AC chart so it could've been done).

And now we have a tie for the longest running #1 of the decade, with 10 weeks each for "Shape of You" and "Blurred Lines". It's unlikely to be immediately broken, as "That's What I Like" should take over next week.

Odd that the only two droppers are from so high up, with one falling right off from a #20 peak. The biggest dropper that stays on the countdown only falls seven notches, but at least is aptly titled. And "Cold" gets a proverbial AT40 jackpot (10-10-10).

If I had it my way, there would be no songs older than 26 weeks on the chart or the show.  All extras would be new songs that either haven't made the chart yet, or fell off early so that they are still less than 26 weeks from when they entered the chart.  No oldies from the past.
