I'm glad BMG seems to support her and has a TRANSPARENT plan.
I got the sense that her three albums between cancer and Golden, she had a disconnect with the teams working on the projects.
The discussion of streaming goes back to what was discussed about Tank in the Kelly Clarkson thread - increased singles chart position for veteran acts include heavily assisting the built-in (older) fan base to streaming services.

Hopefully this US plan includes a tour, so I can finally see her live...

I'm just giving the album a first listen as I work and it sounds very much like a Natalie Imbruglia album to me....which isn't a bad thing. I LOVE Natalie Imbruglia!

The more I listen to this album, the more I like it. It seems like the perfect album to listen to at night. L.O.V.E. is a stunner. It might be my favorite song so far. And I take back what I said about Music's Too Sad Without You. It's sublime. edit//Actually, I change my mind about L.O.V.E. I'm not sure why I said that, lol. I think the stretch from Shelby 68 through Lost Without you is my favorite. Love is the only song I am not liking from the standard edition, but hopefully it grows on me. Low Blow on the other hand was deleted after my second listen. Love has finally grown on me. I still think Every Little Part of Me should have replaced it on the standard edition though.

I enjoyed this album more than I thought I would (especially after the awkward Play Me Once) but it just isn't what I want from her. "A Lifetime to Repair" and "Music's Too Sad Without You" are immediate favorites though!

This is not the album I wanted from Kylie, but it is the album I needed from Kylie. She emotes more than she has since Body Language(?) and her vocals are solid, raw, and real. I disagree with those who say it is too samey and I only found a song or two to feel like filler on the full deluxe tracklist.

I feel like I should know the answer to this after all these years on the board, but if I buy a physical copy from her official website, does that count toward the Billboard 200?

It's not definitive but if BMG registered her site to report sales directly to SoundScan (which most labels do), then yes.

Still jamming to this - I played it through at least 4 times today.
She and the A&R guy really found the HOOKS and instrumental parts to really get stuck in your head.
To name a few: A Lifetime to Repair Rollin' Live a Little Raining Glitter One Last Kiss Lost Without You Low Blow the yodel in the title track
Also Radio On punches me in the feels. I just don't understand why they lead with "Dancin" when there are clearly stronger, radio-friendly songs.

I kind of feel like I want a dance/disco pop remix for Lost without you. In fact maybe a remix album would be a great idea.

#1 UK Midweeks. Nearly 3:1 lead over the TSTM and TGS, though no streaming data is included yet.

Does she have any hits on the charts in the UK from this album?

"Dancing" barely scraped the top 50 of the singles chart, but it did hit #19 at UK radio overall and #1 on BBC Radio 2.

After settling in with the album, I've gotten used to the stiff production a little more. "One Last Kiss," "LOVE," and "Low Blow" need to get the f**k out though. Harmless (but also lifeless) filler. But everything else I rock with. I also wish she had dropped The Good, The Bad And The Ugly homage out of "Golden," it knocks that song down a full letter grade.
"Dancing," "ALTR," "Shelby 68," "LAL," "Raining Glitter," "MTSWY" and "ELPOM" are the official highlights for me.

"Dancing" is currently #9 on the Billboard Dance Club Songs chart. I hope with the album's release, that it'll get pushed to #1 (with the album's download/streaming numbers added in).

Sorry but the exact guitar chords on intros of "Dancing" & "Rollin'" bugs the shit out of me.

Cannot believe how much I love this!! She and her team did such a good job marrying country with Kylie dance pop!
Dancing remains my favorite, because I've had two and a half months to jam every day, and for blessing us with her best video since Get Outta My Way! (Honorable mention to Sexercize) Lifetime to Repair Stop Me From Falling Sincerely Yours Golden (the uh-huhs at the end are SO SEXY and pure pop) One Last Kiss Radio On Music's Too Sad Without You Lost Without You Every Little Part of Me
I'm not going to lie, I'm repeatedly trying to get into Raining Glitter but I have yet to have a moment. Overall I'm thrilled. Keep delivering visuals like Dancing and sounds like "Wake Me Up" by Avici!
I'm so happy!

I need more listens to make the verses stick in my head. But I've been shouting along in my car to the choruses, bridges, and pre-choruses.

Sincerely Yours has grown on me. I'm not sure if it would be good as a single, but it's my new favorite song on the album. The chorus is really nice.

Enters at #1 in the UK with 48k (along with her 51st top 40 with Dancing re-entering at #38), becoming her 6th #1 album. It also becomes her 5th #1 album in Australia, and the first since Fever to top both charts. She's tied for the second most #1 albums in the UK by a female artist with Barbra Streisand, and tied second for the same record in Australia with P!nk and Céline Dion. Madonna is #1 in both territories with 12 #1 albums in the UK and 11 #1 albums in Australia.

Go Kylie, not too shabby in the UK, opened up better than Kiss Me Once.
