Jane's Addiction - "Mountain Song" Yes indeed! Song #6
Jane's Addiction - Mountain Song"Mountain Song" is a song by Jane's Addiction and the second single from their 1988 album Nothing's Shocking. "Mountain Song" was the first song written by the band in 1985, before a band name had even been decided upon. The song was initially recorded in 1986 and featured on the soundtrack to the film Dudes, starring Jon Cryer. This version can also be found as a track on the 1997 alternate & live cut compilation album Kettle Whistle. "Mountain Song" was re-recorded in 1988 for Nothing's Shocking. "Mountain Song" was named the 71st best hard rock song of all time by VH1.

#9 - "Possum Kingdom" by: Toadies So it turns out this song is in the Xbox version of GHII; I had to look it up because I legit did not recall that song being in the game. But I've got the PS2 version, and this song is not in it.

I only started playing Guitar Hero on Playstation when I got Guitar Hero World Tour. That's interesting though. Kinda curious if there was a replacement for it on PS2 or if it just had one less song.

Looking it up on Wikipedia; the Xbox version has a number of songs exclusive to that version, while there are some songs they have in common that are in different levels between versions. For example the 'Opening Licks' level has 'Possom Kingdom' by the Toadies and 'Salvation' by Rancid exclusive to the Xbox version, while 'Strutter' by Kiss and 'Heart-Shaped Box' by Nirvana are in the 'Opening Licks' level on Xbox, but in the PS2 version, those two songs are in the 'Amp Warmers' level.

Yeah, I looked it up. I can't believe the PS2 version didn't have Iron Maiden's "The Trooper" or Alice Cooper's "Billion Dollar Babies." I never noticed how many songs were cut from the PS2 version.

Anyways #6, #9, and technically #10 have all been correctly guessed. #7 and #8 however have not. #7: James was close to getting it, just chose the wrong song. #8 is kinda weird because it's a remix done by the producers of the original song. It makes the song a lot less messy and much catchier.

Time for some reveals!Song #7 willapted33 got this one! Lil Dicky - Work (Paid For That?)The 19th track from Lil Dicky’s debut album, Professional Rapper. This track themes around the transition LD had from working in an office to entering the crazy rap lifestyle. He talks about all absurd thing that come with the job. like “getting paid to chill” to companies sending free stuff and of course the girls. He also compares the 2 jobs (rapper and office job) and commenting about how ridiculous the difference is.Song #8Chance The Rapper ft Vic Mensa - Family (Blended Babies Remix)Can't find any info on this songSong #9maine got it! Toadies - Possum Kingdom "Possum Kingdom" is a song by American alternative rock band Toadies released as the second single from their 1994 album, Rubberneck. The song's origins lie in folklore from the band's native state of Texas. Possum Kingdom Lake is a lake in North Texas near Fort Worth. In the documentary "Dark Secrets: The Stories of Rubberneck", Lewis further elaborates that he intended "Possum Kingdom" to be a continuation of the story told in the song "I Burn". While he envisioned "I Burn" to be a story about cult members immolating themselves in order to ascend to a higher plane, "Possum Kingdom" was about one of the immolated people becoming "just smoke, and ...he goes to Possum Kingdom [Lake] and tries to find somebody to join him."
Song #10 Green Baron (technically) got this one!
Lupe Fiasco - Put You On Game This song introduces, according to Lupe, the five greatest evils known to man. He creatively personifies these evils by giving each of them a voice, making it seem as though they are all competing to see who is the worst.

Time for another set of hints!11. Yet another album track (Track 2), this time from a band that formed all the way back in 1965. This song was featured on their self titled final studio album. The song shares a name with a recent Kendrick Lamar song. (Rock, 1989) 12. This is an emotional song by a hip hop supergroup. The song talks about events in the rappers' lives involving death. It was the fourth single off their second studio album. (Hip Hop, 2012) 13. This song is by a popular band on Pulse. This was the 2nd single off their 2nd album. This song was a follow up to another huge hit by this band but was slightly less successful on the Hot 100, peaking at #65. (Alternative Metal, 2003) 14. This song was the lead single off this popular 80s rock singer's 7th studio album. This song became his biggest hit and boosted the album to becoming the most successful album of his career. (Rock, 1984) 15. This song was the second single off this immensely popular band's 7th studio album. The song starts off slow and gets progressively faster. This song has been included in such shows as Top Gear, American Dad, and even the Guardians of the Galaxy animated series. (Rock, 1979)

"Mr. Blue Sky" I need to start fact checking, I made a small mistake there. 11 is indeed Jefferson Airplane's Freedom, I was thinking of Beyonce's song Freedom which features Kendrick Lamar. 13 is correct 15 is incorrect. It's involvement with Top Gear might've been a bit less than how I worded it. It was voted "Greatest Driving Song Ever" by viewers of the show.

Song #11Jefferson Airplane - FreedomCan't find any info on this songSong #12Slaughterhouse - Goodbye"Goodbye" is the fourth single of the hip hop group Slaughterhouse from their album Welcome to: Our House, which was released on August 28, 2012. The song features Ming-Xia formally of the The Spooks. The song features production by Boi-1da. It was available to purchase on iTunes on August 14, 2012. There is a remix featuring Fat Joe, dedicated to Chris Lighty.Song #13Chevelle - Send The Pain Below"Send the Pain Below" is a song by Chevelle and was released as the second single from their second album Wonder What's Next. The song is considered their most successful where it first hit #1 on Modern Rock Tracks chart on July 5, 2003 for 1 week and stayed on the chart for 36 weeks, then it hit #1 on the Mainstream Rock Tracks chart a week later on July 12, 2003 for 4 non-consecutive weeks and stayed on the chart for 35 weeks. It hit #65 on the Billboard Hot 100 where it charted lower than their prior hit "The Red" at #56, but "Send the Pain Below" was considered more successful on the rock and alternative charts and it still had more pop success despite charting lower on the Hot 100. Lyrically, "Send the Pain Below" appears to describe a relationship where one person suppresses and hurts the other. It is told through the receiver's perspective.

15 is Queen's "Don't Stop Me Now". (!!!!!) 14 is Springsteen, and I THINK it's "Dancing in the Dark". You got them! Song #14
Bruce Springsteen - Dancing In The Dark "Dancing in the Dark" is a song written and performed by American rock singer Bruce Springsteen. With added uptempo synthesizer riffs and some syncopation to his sound for the first time, the song spent four weeks at number two on the Billboard Hot 100 and sold over one million singles in the U.S. alone. As the first single released from his 1984 album, Born in the U.S.A., it became his biggest hit and propelled the album to become the best-selling album of his career.
Song #15
Queen - Don't Stop Me Now "Don't Stop Me Now" is a song by the British rock band Queen, featured on their 1978 album Jazz that was released as a single in 1979. Written by lead singer Freddie Mercury, it was recorded in August 1978 at Super Bear Studios in Berre-les-Alpes (Alpes-Maritimes), France, and is the twelfth track on the album. Musically the song builds on Mercury's piano playing, with John Deacon and Roger Taylor providing a bass guitar and drums backing track. The song also provides an example of Queen's trademark style of multitrack harmony vocals for the chorus lines. The electronics company Alba conducted a survey of 2000 UK adults, which asked respondents to name their favorite uplifting song, and 'Don't Stop Me Now' was the most popular response.

Alright, it's time for some more hints.16. This instrumental composition was the only official single of this famous musician's 2nd solo studio album. He is considered to be one of the greatest guitarists of all time and even one of the greatest musical artists of all time. (Jazz Fusion, 1970)
17. This was the lead single off this legendary bands 14th studio album. The band is arguably one of the greatest bands of all time, though this song only peaked at #65 on the Hot 100. (Hard Rock, 1987)
18. This one is likely going to be a first listen to most. This song was one of this English rock band's best known singles, peaking at #4 in the UK. The band is known for their hard, progressive rock sound. (Progressive Rock, 1971)
19. This was this band's debut release and their first hit in both the US and UK, despite originally flopping on its initial British release. The song reached #4 on the Billboard Hot 100. (Rock, 1977)
20. This is a remix off this rapper's debut commercial mixtape. It features Wiz Khalifa. (Hip Hop, 2013)

Kinda tired so I'm gonna reveal now. Song #16Frank Zappa - Peaches En Regalia"Peaches en Regalia" is an instrumental jazz fusion composition by Frank Zappa. It was released on Zappa's album Hot Rats in 1969 and has been recorded many times since. It was also released as a single in 1970, with "Little Umbrellas" as the B-side. Zappa used the piece on many of his tours, often as either the opening or the encore of a show. "Peaches en Regalia" has been included in the "underground" version of The Real Book, despite being compositionally more complicated than typical jam session tunes. Having a song included in the book has been described "the ultimate insider credential for a jazz composer". The tune is used as instrumental background music on the BBC London radio program presented by Danny Baker. It was also the theme tune for the early 1970s BBC2 show One Man's Week.Song #17Kiss - Crazy Crazy Nights"Crazy Crazy Nights" is a song by the American hard rock band Kiss. It was originally released on the outfit's 1987 album Crazy Nights.
Song #18
Atomic Rooster - Devil's Answer Can't find any information on this song.
Song #19
Foreigner - Feels Like The First Time "Feels Like the First Time" is the debut single by the British-American rock band Foreigner. It was written by Mick Jones and released in 1977 from the band's eponymous debut album. It reached number four on the Billboard Hot 100
Song #20

A bit late but better late than never!
21. This song is the third track on this band's second album. According to Wikipedia, it was released as a promotional single (Indie Rock, 2004)
22. This is the 8th track from this Alternative Rock band's debut album. I know there's a certain poster on Pulse that is vert fond of said band. Unfortunately this band hasn't been able to match the success of their debut single. (Alternative Rock, 2013)
23. This popular song off this band's 5th studio album is the B-side of their 2nd single. It's notable for it's high pitched guitar riff. (Roots Rock, 1970)
24. This one might be a bit difficult since there isn't much info on this song. This song was released right before their internationally successful single. Said single re-uses the chorus to a famous Salt-n-Pepa song. (Dance/Electronic, 2016)
25. This song was the 2nd single off this bands critically acclaimed 2nd album. This song was featured in popular rhythm game "Guitar Hero II" and also in "Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas" (Alternative Metal, 1992)

HINT TIME 26. This power ballad is this bands signature song and one with a very strong connection for the band. Released as the 3rd single from this band's 2nd album, it peaked at #10 on the hot 100. (Hard Rock, 1989) 27. This is an album track (Track 2) from this Australian indie rock three-piece's debut studio album. It has obvious influences from bands like Vampire Weekend and MGMT to name a few. (Indie Rock, 2014) 28. Likely the oldest song in this rankdown, from this rock and roll legend's debut album. The song is about a girl who wants sex. The album made the top 50 of Rolling Stone Magazine's list of the 500 greatest albums of all time. (Rock and Roll, 1956) 29. This was track #5 on this bands 2nd album and also the shortest song on the album. Another song from this same album was interpolated in a recent top 5 pop-rap hit. (Alternative Rock, 1998) 30. This song off this band's 5th studio album shares a similar name to a critically acclaimed Pink Floyd song. This band is much more known for a ballad they released nearly 17 years prior. (Heavy Metal, 2008)
