sabre14 if you banned someone and ban them again, wouldn't the two just cancel each other out? In which case you played yourself!

This ain't math buddy, where two negatives make a positive, or grammar, where a double negative cancels the other one out ( that one hasn't even been confirmed yet). If it were up to me, I'd be okay with showing some leniency after ten recitations of the following: "Two Dozen Roses", "Elvira", "Church on Cumberland Road", and twenty of "Tulsa Time". Get to rehearsin' bboat11 !

Your top 20!!
If You're Going Through Hell (Before The Devil Even Knows), Rodney Atkins Jesus, Take The Wheel, Carrie Underwood Would You Go With Me, Josh Turner Leave The Pieces, The Wreckers Who Says You Can't Go Home, Bon Jovi (with Jennifer Nettles) Why, Jason Aldean Give It Away, George Strait Something's Gotta Give, LeAnn Rimes Every Time I Hear Your Name, Keith Anderson Settle For A Slowdown, Dierks Bentley Your Man, Josh Turner When I Get Where I'm Going, Brad Paisley (feat. Dolly Parton) Life Ain't Always Beautiful, Gary Allan Every Mile A Memory, Dierks Bentley Before He Cheats, Carrie Underwood Cheatin', Sara Evans Want To, Sugarland Kerosene, Miranda Lambert New Strings, Miranda Lambert Coalmine, Sara Evans
I'll probably set aside 3-4 times to reveal the rest. I'll try not to do one or two at a time. Instead do #20-#16 -- #15-#11 and so on. :)
Also, might as well, predictions questions. Answer as many or as little as you'd like.
1) Which song will be the next eliminated?
2) Which song are you most surprised made it this far?
3) Your top 10 predictions?
4) Which song will win it all?

I have to think Coalmine and New Strings aren't long for the Top 20 since they are more unknown then the rest of these songs.
Yay at Keith Anderson making the Top 20!

I think Rodney Atkins is probably living on borrowed time here.

My introduction to LBT was "Boondocks" and I loved that one, but then "Bring It On Home" came out and I was super disappointed. Thank God I went to see them live anyway and became a massive STAN for them.
I only stan for my favs when they record good music tho.
"Bring It On Home" sucks as a song, but the reason I find it tolerable is because their harmonies and vocals are always gorgeous. I like it live. It's good in concert. Anyone else sang this though, it would be unlistenable to me.

I’m shocked (pleasantly) that Something’s Gotta Give is still in it!!! Sadly I think it is going to be next :( If You’re Going Through Hell and Who Says You Can’t Go Home will be quick to follow.
I’m starting to think Jesus Take The Wheel might win!

Dolly Parton) Life Ain't Always Beautiful, Gary Allan Every Mile A Memory, Dierks Bentley Before He Cheats, Carrie Underwood Cheatin', Sara Evans Want To, Sugarland Kerosene, Miranda Lambert New Strings, Miranda Lambert Coalmine, Sara Evans 1) Which song will be the next eliminated? I think that "If You're going Through Hell" has got to be pretty close, so I will go for that one next. 2) Which song are you most surprised made it this far? You know, I can't say I'm too surprised by any of these songs that remain! They are definitely all top 20 worthy. I guess I am a little surprised about "Coalmine", if only because it was such an epic flop on the charts that most non-fans probably have never heard it. I also kinda thought that "If You're Going Through Hell" might have a little more hate due to overplay. 3) Your top 10 predictions?
10. Every Mile A Memory - Dierks Bentley 9. When I Get Where I'm Going - Brad Paisly/Dolly Parton 8. Life Ain't Always Beautiful - Gary Allan 7. Want To - Sugarland 6. Would You Go With Me - Josh Turner 5. Jesus, Take The Wheel - Carrie Underwood 4. Give It Away - George Strait 3. Cheatin' - Sara Evans 2. Your Man - Josh Turner 1. Before he Cheats - Carrie Underwood 4) Which song will win it all? It wouldn't be my first choice, but I think "Before He Cheats" is going to prove to be a fairly unstoppable force whenever it shows up in rankdowns. I never thought it would massacre "Jesus, Take The Wheel" the way it did in the Carrie rankdown, because "Jesus" is a much better song. But unfortunately I see "Jesus" being tanked midway through the top 10 here. Sara Evans would be a contender, but she will probably see a repeat of "Perfect"'s performance in the 2004 rankdown and bow out just inside the top 3 due to a couple specific individuals disliking her just because other people like her. Josh Turner is a definite dark horse candidate as well, and I would love to see him take the crown even if I feel that "Your Man" is a tad overrated.

1) Which song will be the next eliminated? - I'm pretty sure that Rodney is living on lots of borrowed time; I know it ain't up to me, but I can see him leaving pretty soon. 2) Which song are you most surprised made it this far? - Rodney, for sure, plus "Coalmine" (not bad by any means, but gets old really fast). I'm also pleasantly surprised to see both of Josh's and Dierks' songs make it, even though I shouldn't be since all four of those songs were #1 hits. 3) Your top 10 predictions? - Here goes... 10. Kerosene - Miranda Lambert 9. Give It Away - George Strait 8. Jesus, Take the Wheel - Carrie Underwood 7. Every Time I Hear Your Name - Keith Anderson 6. Leave the Pieces - The Wreckers 5. Your Man - Josh Turner 4. Every Mile a Memory - Dierks Bentley 3. Cheatin' - Sara Evans 2. Want To - Sugarland 1. Before He Cheats - Carrie Underwood 4) Which song will win it all? - I literally have no idea ( good thing I'm not in NY btw), but I think one of Carrie's songs will take the crown. I honestly don't see a man making it far enough to be a #1 contender.

Dang I was hoping Ashley could've snuck into the top 20.
This is a good top 20 but I was hoping for more dark horses lol
My top 5 is still intact but I suspect my #5 and #3 will be going very soon.
Can't wait to see what's next.

1) Which song will be the next eliminated?
Rodney Adkins or Keith Anderson
2) Which song are you most surprised made it this far?
"Something's Gotta Give" I didn't love it in 2006, but it is a song I do seek out from time to time. Especially 2 years ago when I turned 31. LOL
3) Your top 10 predictions?
Would You Go With Me, Josh Turner Leave The Pieces, The Wreckers Give It Away, George Strait When I Get Where I'm Going, Brad Paisley (feat. Dolly Parton) Life Ain't Always Beautiful, Gary Allan Before He Cheats, Carrie Underwood Cheatin', Sara Evans Want To, Sugarland Kerosene, Miranda Lambert Something's Gotta Give, LeAnn Rimes
4) Which song will win it all?
"Want To" will win!

Not saying I won't do more reveals tonight but I got an article to do for my freelancing work before morning, so I'll be doing that tonight unfortunately.
Worst case, I'll do reveals Friday afternoon or Saturday afternoon.

Up next at #19, three people lose a top 5 and one person loses a #1... Correction. Four people lose a top 5! A handful of bottom-half rankings did our #19 song in.

Eh. I like this song enough but this felt way overdue imo as the rest of these songs are very memorable and are classics or staples of the genre. This song while good, it's not hard to see why it flopped.

This song while good, it's not hard to see why it flopped. I agree its a polarizing song, but without the coal mine tragedy going on at the time, it would have been a big hit. She ran into an unpredictable and unprecedented world event. Talk about bad timing! LOVE "Coal Mine"!
