Your original post implied that if you handed off those lyrics to the other artists, you'd end up with a better song. If they were to write a song on the same topic, no chance it'd resemble Gucci Gang in the slightest to even make the comparison.
Anyway, added Ghostface Killers to the new music list since it seems to be holding up on sales, though I do notice its YT streams are extremely weak atm.

No, but seriously, if there is any trap song this year that I would have wanted to see in the top ten, it was "Bank Account", and it was apparently close, on some occasions. At least that one has a killer instrumental and beat to make up for somewhat mediocre rapping and lame lyrics, IMO. Those three songs I just find to be all-around very unpleasant to listen to. Also, wow at "Havana". :O I guess "Feel It Still" will probably not go higher than #4, but I am plenty satisfied with it having even reached that high. :) |

I just think Lil Pump sounds bored on this song. Though even despite the fact that I dislike the song like everyone else, I can't say even I completely get the utter hatred people have for Lil Pump. He doesn't seem to do a lot of things that are worse than every other trap rapper in the mainstream right now. He seems to be rapping about the same thing pretty much every other trap rapper does, and his rapping, while boring, isn't really all that terrible. I get simply disliking him, but what I don't get are the extremely negative reactions he get from a lot of people unless you hate him just as much as all the other rappers in the mainstream. |

I hope you guys know that Lil Pump doesn't take himself seriously and is trying to enjoy himself and have fun. He's not very good at making his music show that fun. On an unrelated note, I really hope Havana can get to #1. I think for a lot of December it will be a battle for the top between it and Rockstar. Maybe even akin to what happened in late 2008 with Whatever You Like and Live Your Life. |
