The standout of the album for me.

This is my favorite of the Reputation songs I've heard until now. In my opinion, this era lacks great hooks and this one is an exception, that hook was really good on first listen.

I agree this is the standout along with Don't Blame Me.

Stronger melody on this one. I wish it were less 2015.

I hate these kind of lyrics from her, as it seems real petty, but I can't resist liking this one.
The production is fire.

Look What You Made Me Do definitely gets stuck in your head more than this but this is catchy in a GOOD way, unlike the former just being irritating.

This sounds so much like Tove Lo it's crazy, which is a good thing IMO. The chorus and the production during the chorus is pretty killer.

I’ve never trusted a narcissist, but they love me. So I play him like a violin, and make it look oh so easy. Because for every lie I tell him, he tells three.

The stutter kept reminding me of something that I couldn't pinpoint at first, and then it clicked that it was Backseat Freestyle.
I do agree that this would have made a good first single, even though I prefer LWYMMD personally. It's definitely one of the most instant ones, but I'm mixed on how this would fare as a later single about the same subject as the lead, which didn't stick around long.

The opening verse is terrific.
Should have been the lead.

Worst song on the album. Gave me a headache. The only part I like is the stuttering male voice. Otherwise, this is a cacophonous, poorly mixed/mastered mess.

This really should have been the lead single!! I love this, it’s such a standout! I get major You Don’t Own Me vibes in the production, which is a good thing because that was one of my favorite songs last year. Hope this becomes a single eventually!

I was pretty sure she sampled that song, then found out that she didn't. Weird.

Joseph Kahn directed the music video, he's dropping some hints on Twitter, the most obvious being:
This is a terrible single choice.

If they're going to go with this, hopefully the video connects to 'Ready For It' in some way, maybe that video would make more sense with the additional context.

You would think after the poor reception of the last three singles, they'd realize that maybe a fourth song that is a complete disconnect of Taylor and her past isn't going to work. But I guess not, so...

I actually think this is the most memorable song among all the unreleased ones. I personally prefer "Delicate" over this but that one is definitely not as instant as this.
