How Long is top five. What? You do know it's well-liked by the board and a good song, right? It is? I thought it was shat on. But then again I despise it so I've never ventured the thread. To me, it's just a poor rehash of Attention, which did everything How Long tries to do a hundred times better. How Long just comes off as completely fake to me. I also just generally don't like Charlie Puth as a musician.

#5 beat "Second One to Know" in a tie because of the #1 support it got.
#5 held nine Top 10 rankings, with two of those being a #1. Two people ranked this in their bottom 7. Twenty-eight people ranked this in their top half, so this one was very well-received for the majority. This one actually had a very good run. Outside of our #1, this held the #1 spot the longest. This song led for ten lists, and was a mainstay in the Top 3 for the majority of the game. This only spent one list outside of the Top 10 – now that I am looking at it; not a single song was in every Top 10 this go round.

wait lol indulge put a country song in the 30s...is there a personal vendetta against Stapleton or something?
Happy to see my pick make the Top 10, definitely wasn't expected with the treatment of most of the country tracks in these rankdowns (I figured 25-21 range). Doubt my #1 seed makes the Top 10 but I'm stoked to have two tracks in the finals.

I was really rooting for this one. It was doing so well and I thought it could take that surprise #1, but sadly it fell short. Still another great run.

Remember how I said #5 and #6 were tied and to sound the alarm for a Top 10 tie? Well, SOUND THE ALARM AGAIN WE HAVE ANOTHER TOP 10 TIE! Now, #3 and #4 were tied as well. This time, both songs had #1 support. Moving into #4, there was one lone #1 here, and an additional eleven Top 10 placings. This was another that got no hate, as no bottom 7s or bottom 10s are lost here. This one actually has the highest low ranking left of the Top 4 (does that make sense? lol). This was another song that was a mainstay in the Top 5, and it spent nearly its entire time in the Top 10. This also has the third lowest standard deviation of the whole game.

I don't think I will ever understand how Chris Stapleton can literally scream super traditional country songs at the top of his lungs and have everyone in the non-country-music world think the sun shines out his ass... I mean, the guy is super talented of course, but we all know that talent doesn't mean a thing when it comes to peoples' usual dislike of country music.

Rooting for either Charlie or Kelly to take it. Not really a fan of Clean Bandit's work, outside of "Symphony" and "Rockabye" + "Rather Be" to an extend, they made mostly generic music.

I think it's because he sounds pretty refreshing when country radio is usually flooded with dozens of Thomas Rhett and FGL clones that make really watered-down soulless music. I'm not terribly familiar with any country music before the 2010s (never really been motivated to go digging since it's not one of my favorite genres, but I wouldn't say that I hate country music), so for someone who has really only looked at the surface of the genre over the past ~5 years he's a pretty clear standout. There's also some southern rock influences that hang around in a bunch of his songs including the one in this set which was a familiar springboard for me to get into his stuff. I'm always open to discovering new music though, so I'm sure there are plenty of other similarly great artists that I haven't stumbled upon yet!

#4 had a #1 and lost the tiebreaker? Well, how many did #3 have!? Lemme tell you!
#3 has three #1s to its name. This is tied for the most Top 10s on a single song, as it matches "Love So Soft" with fifteen. This also had nine people rank this in the Top 5. Three people put this inside of their bottom 7. This song started off in the Top 10 for awhile, but fell out a bit later and took quite awhile to return. It did come back, but it didn't come back all that dominant. It slowly rose back up to where it lands now at #3.

"Second One to Know" doesn't even sound that country to me, and Chris Stapleton is not someone I would consider myself a fan of. I like some of his songs just fine -- I love his current single "Broken Halos" -- but he's quite a bit overrated imo, and I just don't really care much for "Second One to Know."

Let's talk about our Top 2! - Both songs carry one #1 each.
- One song has nine Top 10 rankings, while the other has sixteen. So that means I lied about Kelly having the most Top 10s on her songs. I apparently can't count.
- Only one bottom 7 ranking is still remaining. Believe it or not, one of these songs has it!
- One song has the second lowest standard deviation of the game, while the other has the fourth lowest.
- Our #2 song never spent a list at #1, but our #1 spent nineteen lists at the summit, as well as the very last list!
- Our #1 wins by ~75 points.
