Why does the cover art have to be so similar to her Bazzi collab’s though.

The original is my favorite CaCa song but Swae was a let down considering how pleasant his voice and his singing usually is. The production is really nice though.

I hope Sangria Wine didn't kill her momentum entirely. The iTunes position is super low for a brand new release. She can't afford to have 3 flop singles if this and Beautiful do not do well. Here's hoping for the best.

The new production is good but his vocals do not really work well with the song. I'll stick to the original.
Still hoping this is a hit.

Why do I like the Swae Lee part better...
The remix production is.. a choice
Will probably be a moderate hit fueled by pop radio

This remix version is good for what it is but I still prefer the original.

The production on the remix was nice, but Swae's part sounds a mess -- that autotune is too much. I hope the remix works for this, but personally I'll be sticking to the original.

Hopefully this can get some adds today. I'm guessing it will get around 15. Should be nearing the top 50 airplay later this week or early next week.

I am happy this got released. I was hoping for She Loves Control but this was my next favorite. Hopefully this starts taking off in the next couple of weeks.

This song will probably flop. The original might've been a better release. The remix is cool but there's too much going on, and too much auto tune on Swae Lee in the final chorus. I'm starting to wonder if they really know what lane works for Camila. They thought Crying in the Club was going to be a hit, they almost pushed OMG instead of Havana (it said success was almost accidental in the sense that the label didn't believe in it) and they skipped out on She Loves Control. The Latin-pop lane is where she will shine! I partially think Camila doesn't want to be pigeonholed in that genre (by saying she didn't want to record or release "a bunch of Havanas"). Thankfully, Beautiful will probably be a hit for her.

We will have to wait and see what happens. It is possible that the success of Beautiful might be hurting this song, or the fact that Camila waited so long to to release single #3. Anyway I still think this song will still be a moderate hit peaking somewhere between #15 to #35 on Pop.

Much like Sangria Wine, leonagwen is technically correct that it "hasn't gone for adds/there's still time/etc" but the lack of early interest is pretty concerning. This flopping is probably going to kill any chance SLC gets released.

They've technically "sent" it to radio, but I've seen nothing to suggest Camila or her team still plan to push this one. I'd imagine whatever interest they had in promoting this as a single died when it struggled out of the gate on iTunes.

I'm surprised they even threw this one out. Seems like it may have been something they did for Camila since she's always stated this song as one of her favorites. I'm not expecting much in the way of pushing or promoting this. I doubt it'll get a video.

The audio of this song came out a week ago Thursday. Much too early to give up on this song.People on this thread seem to like to kick Camila down when they think shes down. She just won 2 of the biggest awards at the VMA's 1 week so it's not like shes a flop artist.

^^^ Numbers don’t lie. Much like Sangria Wine, the early signs are pointing toward this not having hit potential. I don’t think this should be pushed; at this point, they should either just release a brand new song from a Camila re-issue or move on to an entirely brand new era.

I'm a fan of the original, but the remix is a complete mess. The overt autotune does not fit the vibe of this song.

Camila stans are only saying it’s Pharrell’s song because it was a massive flop. If it had smashed instead, these same Camila stans would be giving her all the credit for it. The song isn’t listed as Pharrell feat. Camila, it’s listed as Pharrell x Camila, so it’s 100% her song too...

"Sangria Wine" was a Pharrell single from a business and promotional standpoint, but Camila Cabello fans still saw it as her song (in large part because she positioned it as such during her tour). So it was very reasonable to expect her fans to show up and buy it/stream it ... and very disappointing (and telling) when they didn't.
And that's what's similar to the situation here. Of course the song is fairly new, but she's one of those artists with a huge, passionate fanbase. She has the fanbase (and gets the media coverage) to send a song flying up the iTunes chart during its first week of release (Havana, OMG and Never Be The Same go to the Top 10 on iTunes before airplay, and she's supposed to be a bigger star now). She also received prominent placement on Best Of The Week, which is a major factor in its own right. Neither Camila fans nor Best Of The Week fans showed up for this song, at all, which is why it had that flop first week. And if it can't resonate with her blind supporters, how can there be confidence it will resonate with the masses?
New releases from established artists -- especially with armies of "stans" -- aren't supposed to need airplay to make a big first-week impression on the charts. You can't look at a Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande or, yes, Camila Cabello single the way you do a Nina Nesbitt single. If new music from established artists doesn't sell, it very likely puts the writing on the wall.
Of course there will be some exceptions, but this approach is generally the rule. Songs like Friends, Growing Pains, Sangria Wine, etc all provided cause for early concern ... and that concern turned out to be justified.

Beautiful is doing well, so even if this flops she'll be fine. The general audience is not going to care whose single Beautiful is... as long as there keeps being hits with her voice on them she'll stay top-of-mind with pop audiences.
The early signs for this suck. Lets see if they release a lyric video or perform it or something to give it another chance to show some life. Otherwise they should move on because she'll have a song on the radio to sustain her visbility into the next era.
