Mess @ people still trying to call Luis Fonsi a one hit wonder. I pegged OMI as one, but then again there was a time when I was absolutely certain, beyond any possible doubt, that Katy Perry would be one too, sooooooooooooooooo... Dude I thought that about Rihanna in 2005. That’s about as wrong as you can get.

Leona Lewis Luis Fonsi Jordin Sparks Jordan Sparks is not a 1 hit wonder. No air,Tatoo, Battlefield and One step at a time were all decent hits. Leona had a huge hit with Bleeding Love but her follow up Better in Time peaked at #11 on Billboard and I think #3 on airplay. Then I will be peaked around #25 on airplay and then Happy peaked at around #30 on airplay.

Bad Wolves They're gonna be the Alien Ant Farm of this decade, watch See also: Orgy Relying on cover versions of well-known songs for your first hit is generally not a great way to launch a long-lasting career, though there have been others in the past who have had multiple hits that were mostly remakes.

How some of these artists are even thought of as a one-hit wonder is baffling to me.

Silento, iLoveMemphis, the Juju On That Beat people, Ayo & Teo, etc. I've come to notice that when some random rapper or DJ makes a viral dance song, they usually end up being a one-hit wonder.

I know it may be too early to predict, but Portugal. The Man will never chart on hot 100 again. Common logic would certainly suggest this, but I'd actually give them a decent shot of having their second single, Live in the Moment, cross over too. It's pretty catchy and pop friendly. Let's have them release the first single of their next album before we throw them into the pile. I thought Magic! for sure would. But to be fair, I also thought that Gnash would have as well...

Technically not a ONE hit wonder, but Fetty Wap. I knew he'd follow the path of Macklemore and Iggy Azalea

Technically not a ONE hit wonder, but Fetty Wap. I knew he'd follow the path of Macklemore and Iggy Azalea I had to look up Fetty's discography to be reminded that "679" and "My Way" were hits; I think I speak for most when the only thing I can remember from him is "Trap Queen". With Macklemore, by contrast, probably everyone at least knows "Thrift Shop" and "Can't Hold Us", and maybe "Same Love". Some other interesting ones listed as well; I don't know how GAYLE may feel about likely being remembered, if at all, as the ABCDE-F**k You girl. Trevor Daniel had a #1 CHR hit just three years ago ("Falling") and I can't even remember how it goes, and Paul Russell's first/current hit only seems to stick because of the "Best of My Love" sample, which doesn't seem like a promising path for career longevity.
