Saw this got a solid 81 on Metacritic. I need to check this out...praying that she could have another hit. "Strangers" still sounds incredibly fresh. Down to 77, but I will definitely check this out. Never heard a single song from this girl.

This was OK. She sounds like a good demo singer. Don't Kill My Vibe was the highlight for me.

Failed to make the Billboard 200 chart. Really not surprised as she has literally no hits in the US (or any kind of exposure slash popularity) but as a fan you're always hoping for that:

My understanding is that she's young and still looking for her signature sound. The tracks are pretty strong on their own and thanks to some quirks the album isn't even disjointed despite "Don't Feel Like Crying" sounding like a Jess Glynne song and "Never Mine" being Style-esque. Love the title track to bits, but "Never Mine" is that song.

The album is a solid debut. Really hoping she can find her footing and place in the pop world because the hooks are H E R E.

I love the production and melodies but the lyrics are a miss for me personally!

I don't think Mirror stands out as much on a production or lyrical level as almost any song on Sucker Punch but I'm still excited for new music

Holy f***. This is just tune and after tune. I noticed I had pre-saved it a while ago and just realized it was released 2 months ago. I'm so glad I was wearing a mask on the subway cause I was GEEKING out with glee on the way home today and looked insane lmao. Just utter pop perfection.
One of my favorites is "Thank Me Later" because there is something so 2000s/early 2010s nostalgic about that chorus that is a mish mash of a lot of songs... but there is one specific melody that I CANNOT pinpoint during the chorus. "I need to let you go.. let you go... it's better for us both / cause when ya know ya know." It mirrors something we've definitely heard before and I am wracking my brain trying to figure it out. Something in between Karmin's "I Hate To Love You" and "Nothin' In This World" by Paris Hilton.

Her autographed vinyl keeps popping up on a couple vinyl IG pages I follow and it makes me cackle every time. In other news, A Driver Saved My Night is a bop!
