Marilyn Manson and Joe Satriani come to mind here. They were nominated for 4 and 15 respectively. Katy Perry also, despite being nominated for 13.

Diana Ross and Bjork have never won and both have received around a dozen or so nominations. Florence and the machine have never won a Grammy despite 7 nominations(8 if you count Florence Welch's nomination for Sweet Nothing with Calvin Harris).

The ones that come to mind are Brian McKnight and Martina McBride with more than a dozen nominations each

Katy should have gotten one during the Teenage Dream / PRISM eras. She had some of the best pop songs of those years.
I can't believe Nicki hasn't gotten one either, considering the amount of collabs she does.
Bieber has one for Where Are Ü Now. I think he has a fair chance to get one with Despacito.

Katy Perry lost several of her awards to Adele, she lost one to "Bad Romance" by Lady Gaga; hard to argue there. What specific award do people think she should have won?

I don't know if there is a specific one I think she should have won, but in hindsight it is strange that an artist that was as big as her for a good stretch of time didn't somehow grab one of them somewhere even if it was a rando dance recording type win or something. Though, I guess Britney Spears was much the same except for nabbing one in 2005 for Toxic.
I am also surprised that Nicki hasn't won something somewhere even if it is, again, a semi random one or for a collaboration. She hasn't even been as nominated as I thought she would be.

Britney finally got smart and did, and she got a Grammy. Rihanna has won there, too. Perry seems to always go Pop, and that's always a crowded field. Like with Perry and others, the combination of genders into the same category hurts. Minaj is always competing against the likes of Kendrick, Drake, Eminem, etc for Rap Performance. I'm not sure any of her albums stand up to the albums of those other artists either. I can see the Collaboration one a bit more, but again, if you look at her competition (Jay-Z/Kanye, Kendrick Lamar, etc) it makes sense.

All I want is one Grammy win for Katy. It’s truly shocking that she never won one. She’s always up against strong competition though. I believe Firework and Wide Awake both had good chances of winning but she’ll never win against Adele.
2009 I Kissed A Girl lost to Chasing Pavements for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance
2010 Hot N Cold lost to Halo for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance
2011 Teenage Dream lost to The Suburbs for Album of the Year Teenage Dream lost to Bad Romance for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance California Gurls lost to Imagine for Best Pop Collaboration Teenage Dream lost to The Fame Monster for Best Pop Vocal Album
2012 Firework lost to Rolling In The Deep for Record Of The Year Firework lost to Someone Like You for Best Pop Solo Performance
2013 Wide Awake lost to Set Fire To The Rain (Live) for Best Pop Solo Performance
2014 Roar lost to Royals for Song Of the Year Roar lost to Royals for Best Pop Vocal Performance
2015 Dark Horse lost to Say Something for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance Prism lost to In The Lonely Hour for Best Pop Vocal Album

When I look at Perry's losses, there are few to none that seem like outright injustices. Obviously if she were more of a Grammys fave she'd win those tight races, but I can't say Adele, Lady Gaga, etc didn't deserve those wins.

I would have given the Grammy to "Dark Horse," but that's it. "California Gurls" was better than "Imagine," but the rightful winner of that group was "Telephone" imo so that's a wash.
Anyway, what was the question?

Anyway, what was the question? That category "CG" was in was really weak in general. I'd have given it to "Telephone," too. The reverse of that is the category "Dark Horse" was in was really strong, and I think about 4 of those nominees (including "DH") would have been a solid winner.

The SFTR (Live) is one of the bogus nominations, despite loving that song. It's like Hey Soul Sister (Live) and Happy (Live) winning after the original was snubbed. Unless a 'live' version of the song is somehow structural different musically or includes a feature, it shouldn't be eligible. So, WA is the one that Katy should've gotten - but Stronger was a pretty good nom that year. It's hard to argue the validity of the other winners. DH beating SS would've made me happy, but I get why that won.

J. Cole has been snubbed a few times now. His 1 AOTY nomination was the same year as To Pimp a Butterfly, meanwhile Jay Z's Magna Carter Holy Grail and Drake's Nothing Was the Same were nominated over Born Sinner in 2014. And this year, Migos' Culture was nominated over 4 Your Eyez Only.
and also nearly all 90's rappers (Biggie, Pac, Nas)

DH beating SS would've made me happy, but I get why that won. I get your point about the live versions, though I disagree a bit with those examples. Technicalities kept the main versions of those songs being nominated, but I think most people recognize those were all popular songs that deserved a nomination and were screwed over by technicality. To that end, the live version was a way to get them nominated. Kudos. I view those different than when that live version of "Halo" was nominated the year after the original won. Also, wasn't the "Set Fire to the Rain" video the live performance of it? To that end, you can argue the live performance itself actually was popular. But, yeah, if Adele wasn't there, the likely winner would have been Kelly Clarkson anyway. She won Pop Album, and "Stronger" was also nominated in Record and Song so I don't think Katy would have won regardless. Plus, "Call Me Maybe" was also nominated that year, and frankly I think it was the best recording of the entire group.
