Vocally my favorite is "If It's Over," but in terms of the atmosphere and how into it she was, "Fly Like A Bird" is my favorite.
What does Joan Osborne say at the end of the "One Sweet Day" performance?

I believe I cried when she performed Fly Like a Bird because it was such an emotional moment for an equally epic comeback after so many years.

I believe I cried when she performed Fly Like a Bird because it was such an emotional moment for an equally epic comeback after so many years. Came in here to say the exactly same thing. Fly Like A Bird made me cry, and still gives me chills when she sang CARRY ME HOME...OH, CARRY ME HOOOOOME. It was a vindicating moment for Mariah and her fans.

“If It’s Over” is a vocal masterpiece (with a fat ass Kelly Price providing backing).

Definitely "If It's Over," but "Fly Like A Bird" was great, too (some parts look a little suspect to me but it's probably the video quality).

My favorite is If It’s Over. It is other-worldly. To do what she did in that performance is incredible.
But I also love Fly Like a Bird because it was powerful and she gave so much emotion but also it was vindication and brought people to their feet. I was so happy for her. Although, f*** the Grammys for not giving her one of the top 3 awards. At the very least, she deserved Record of the Year.

"Vision of Love" and "If It's Over" are both vocal masterclasses. I'd say "IIO" is overall more impressive just because of the technical skills she showed. I voted for it.
"Vision of Love" is more iconic because it was her first time at the Grammys. "Fly Like a Bird" is equally as iconic but for different reasons.
"One Sweet Day" wasn't that great. She sounded shaky (likely because of nerves, it was the opening performance) and it brings up bitterness for how awful that night turned out to be.

What does Joan Osborne say at the end of the "One Sweet Day" performance? "You know that's right!"
