This was released in 1985 and is considered her first English single. She was 17 years old here. I always forget how long she's been recording (longer than Madonna, for example). Her debut single came out a month before I was born (June 1981). This song was taken from the movie The Peanut Butter Solution. Canadians born in the '80's may know of this movie. lol. I loved it growing up and always enjoyed this song. 

This was also her first music video.
