I decided to put Ikea furniture together after the loss of "We Found Love". Thanks for making this Albie and Juan Carlos

Seriously though, thank you all so much for participating in this rankdown and for following along! Calvin is such an icon for me and it was great to see all the love he got from everyone. Also, thank you for being patient with me. As you know, this was the first rankdown I've ever hosted. It was a great pleasure to co-host with Juan Carlos . But it was my first nonetheless I want to thank you all for sticking with us despite the blips at the start of reveals. Regardless, it was a really fun experienced being on the other side of rankdowns. So much so that, I'm getting ready to rollout my next one. For those of that were here for the Florence songs, please see your way to my next rankdown here.

Aww! However, in all seriousness, I'm going to reiterate my gratitude to you for pulling this, although there are some results which still make my eyes to be rolled. Thank you so much and I wish I could have helped you more than I did. <3

I probably overranked "Feel So Close". I am somewhat surprised that I was the lowest rank. I am glad "Sweet Nothing" won, instead.

Singles
#2. "Feel So Close"
I really loved the fact that not a single person thought this was less than top 20 worthy. <3
I really hate to burst your bubble, but I do think I overranked it.

I like Sweet Nothing but I'll never understand why it's so beloved here. He has released better stuff.
Thanks for hosting!

Catching up right now! On the Remixes, even though I didn't rank them, I listened to the top 5, and I would've gone: 5. 4th July / 4. The Weekend / 3. God Is a DJ / 2. When You Were Young / 1. Spectrum By the way, I hadn't heard either GIADJ or WYWY remixes --and I've just downloaded them now. Yay! :) Spectrum has always been an example of what a great remix should be. It completely transformed the song while keeping its vibe. It actually elevated and made it even more dramatic and epic than the original. Loved it! On the Produced singles: 5. Off & On (5): I've always been a fan of Sophie, and this song once again didn't disappoint. This was actually a first-listen for me, and it was almost a toss-up wth One Life. 4. Call My Name (10): I did like it when I heard it first back in the day, and thought this could be a crossover hit... however, it hasn't aged that well IMO, and leans a bit more into the generic side anyway. 3. In My Arms (1): >:( :'( Even though the other singles CH produced for Kylie were outside my top 10 in this RD, IMA is in another level. Since the first time I heard it, it became my favorite off X (and with time it's become one of my top 3 Kylie songs ever). I remember dancing to it in a couple of Eastern European dance clubs and having a blast :) but my love for it goes beyond the memories. I really love the music and melody here, and how the music brings both joy and nostalgia. Happy that it made it this far :) 2. Where Have You Been (2): Love the strong beat and production here, especially the percussion elements here. 1. I Will Never Let You Down (3): Pretty good pop production here. This and WHYB were battling for my #2. I guess it's good to see Rita winning something for starters!

Perfect winner ! Also happy at how far Slide got. We'll Be Coming Back, Under Control & Summer should've been top 10 though.

9. Thinking About You (23): I thought I was going to rank this higher, as I did like it when it was released, but for some reason it didn't click as strongly when I did this RD. It should've been about 5 spots higher though. 8. How Deep Is Your Love (11): I do like the trance elements of this song.
10. I Need Your Love (7) 7. Outside (17) Well, I like Outside, but my favorite has always been INYL. I think it goes much harder and is much more dynamic than O in terms of production and vocals...
6. Pray To God (4): I LOVE this one. It feels VERY 1980s, like a mix of Stevie Nicks, Kim Wilde, Face To Face, and others. The production is top notch and HAIM do a GREAT job in vocals. How is Slide higher than this?
5. We Found Love (6): Yas! I thought this was going to be a #1 contender. I do like it, but CH has done better job :)
4. Slide (16): This is good, chill, and all, but not TOP 5 material for me, like at all...
3. Blame (2): YESS!!! I thought this wasn't going to make the top 5. I've always liked this kind of dramatic EDM. I think CH and JN made a great combo here as vocals and prod combined perfectly.
2. Fee So Close (5): Glad to see this as a runner-up! I loved this one before it was mainstream popular, which I thought was such a HUGE progress in terms of making (real) EDM part of mainstream. This was really a milestone in terms of EDM popularity... and I like Calvin's voice here, too.
1. Sweet Nothing (3): Great winner as well!! It was a toss-up for #2 between this and Blame. I gave the edge to Blame in part because I knew Florence was going to have more support, too :) but I do love this song as well. Great dynamics in terms of both sweet, low-key voice/prod in the verses, and strong/desperate in the chorus. Another gem from CH!
Thanks, Albie and tocayo!! You guys did a great job hosting the RD. (Look forward to participating in Florence's RD :) )

Thanks for hosting Albie and Juan Carlos!!! And really, there was no contest whatsoever. This song ran away with it from the get-go scoring over 40 points more than “The Weekend” thanks to five #1 rankings (half of the participants) and no ranking below #3 giving it an amazing average rank and the lowest SD of the entire rankdown across all three categories. Queen Florence takes it!The remix of "Spectrum" is so beautifully done. I love how the structure of the original's production is kept and just made a little clubbier. It's almost like those remixes during the 80s Shep Pettibone and Arthur Baker would do using the stems of the original and just playing up certain elements to make them more dancefloor friendly, adding just a little bit of new production wherever it was needed. My only minor quibble was that the bridge wasn't used. It could have at least been put into the shorter radio mix. I love the remix Calvin did with Mike Pickering for this that was on the remix EP. They turned it into such a lush 90s Handbag House anthem. If that was in the remixes one, I would have ranked that at #2.
