yes... albeit, gioia took some artistic licenses in the delivery... check it out at myspace.com/gioiab ... then head over to arenna's page (in her friends list) for the other version of the arenna mix. |

^ the eddie mix is actually amazing upon first hear... but if you are familiar with his work, it comes out a little too "formulaic" after a while ... still his remix would definitely be a crowd pleaser in any club. just don't play them one after the other. LOL.

The original was performed by The Dells, but it was Jackie Wilson who had the hit version. The song is called "(Your Love Keeps Lifting Me) Higher And Higher". Nancy Davis did indeed cover it (as her second single), but for some reason her version is credited as "(Your Love Has Lifted Me) Higher and Higher". Not sure why Stock & Aitken change the title. Sadly, Nancy's version charted (No. 137) worse than her debut single, "If You Belonged To Me" (which peaked at No. 89).  You can hear Nancy's version here. |

A few months back, mixes by The Perry Twins and Chris Cox were discussed. I wonder if those ever came to fruition. Josh Harris' mixes are quite accessible. These are the missing link between something circuit-oriented and something a bit more funky. Almighty's mixes are not the typical Euro-cheese sound that is associated with them. It's more in the house direction. Dena Cucci's dub mix is very dark and synthy. This one uses more vocal samples and ad-libs. They have been used in such a manner that this could be thought of as a whole other song. On all the mixes, it sounds like the vocals are different from the ones used on the Arenna and Eddie Baez mixes that have been making the rounds since last year. The layering of them on Josh and Almighty's mixes is incredible. |

Eddie Baez 2009 Remix (9:48) 02. Klubjumpers Club Mix (6:02) 03. Arenna Club Mix (9:43) 04. Klubjumpers Radio Mix (3:35) 05. Arenna Radio Mix (4:31) 06. Perry Twins Mix (8:22) This Arenna and Eddie Baez mixes that are on this single are significantly different from the ones that had surfaced previously. The Perry Twins one appeared on their compilation last year. Still no Tracy Young, Chris Cox and Deep Influence mixes. :'( There was a video teaser on YouTube that used a little of what was reportedly the Deep Influence mix. It has since been removed. It sounded quite good. |

LOL! There's got to be someone out there somewhere who wants these. HA! Well, they had legal issues getting all of the versions out. You have to give them some credit for making sure that all of the versions (even some '09 updates!) were eventually released. |
