This was originally some basic as f**k sounding She'kspere knock-off on the Dr. Dolittle 2 soundtrack. But then Hex Hector got ahold of it and turned it into a dance anthem with the Chanel Mix. Hit #1 on the dance chart.

This is an undisputed club classic, but I never cared for it.

The original was nice for what it was but getting Deborah into the studio and completely re-recording the vocals and everything turned this into a masterpiece that has stood the test of time. Hex and Deborah's re-recorded remixes were always something special.

I like the original version and the HQ2 mix, I don't recall any of the other remixes (which didn't use the re-recorded vocals) working too well though.

I like the original version and the HQ2 mix, I don't recall any of the other remixes (which didn't use the re-recorded vocals) working too well though. The Junior Vasquez remixes used the re-sung vocals from the Hex version but the production is sorely lacking in the energy department. The Junior mixes contain replayed elements from the Deep Dish remix of De'Lacy's "That Look" and Liberty City's "Some Lovin". It's very much in the same vein as Murk's distinct style.

I love both the original and remix. The production of the original is right up my alley. The remix was beyond huge at the time in the clubs. Everyone was bopping to it. Straight and Gay. Did the original even make a dent anywhere besides for on my cd player..?
