BTS just dropped a remix to Fake Love and it is doin pretty well. #6 on US iTunes. It’s midweek so I don’t think it will touch the top ten but it well definitely rise.

As has been pointed out many times at this point, sales don’t really matter much unless they’re at huge levels. The #4 song in digital sales was #98 on the latest Hot 100, so a remix selling well for a few days might add a few thousand downloads at most. Is the remix getting any streams? Or maybe you just meant it will rise on Digital Songs? |

It's funny how most people underestimated Delicate😂
I said already since the release date that it will become a hit.
It's #9 at digital sales and #13 at Radio :)
I know that streaming counts more than sales,but it's doing really good in 2 metrics, hopefully it will crack the top 20

Simm predicting I Like It at #3 and Boo'd Up at #5 is really good news. Also glad Psycho is finally getting that #1 after barely missing it. Not seeing the hype behind Lucid Dreams so far and I'm surprised Kanye isn't predicted to be doing better.
Kinda wanted God's Plan to get the top 3 record though, even though I can't listen to it anymore.

I think it's possible that he's just unsure of the order of the songs in between due to close point gaps, etc. He can still feel good about ranking a song at #29 due to a large gap in points from songs 21-28, and not feel so good about ranking the songs between 21 and 28, as they are too close to call for now. Hope that made sense. |

I'm pretty sure on Thursdays Simm shares the positions for the most relevant songs, and on Sundays he reveals the entire Hot 100. Doesn't he always do it like that?

I think another factor about why he doesn't share the whole chart early might be because he hasn't figured out what all the new entries will be at this point. Sometimes a hip hop song can blow up on Youtube and he doesn't notice it straight away in time for his early predictions. It's not quite as easy to know all the new entries each week like in the download era, there can always be surprises that he hasn't tracked yet. And also, you can do a fairly good early top 10/20 prediction as the songs tend to be spread out a bit more (so he might be 1 or 2 positions out usually), but in the lower half of the Hot 100 where all the songs are very close to each other, you can be a few hundred thousands streams off and maybe the song will be 10 positions higher/lower. To the point it might not be worth publishing his estimates of the lower part of the chart, even if it's done his early calculations for most of it. Every week he gets asked "Where is Delicate?", "Where is Fake Love?", "Where are Dua Lipa's songs?", etc. so he just puts his best estimates for them in advance because he knows he'll have a bunch of people asking. I don't think it's necessarily what he thinks is relevant, just what he thinks a bunch of people are going to ask him for. It could be annoying having dozens of Taylor Swift and BTS fans asking you the same question all the time, it's easier just to put the early estimates (even if they might be quite far out). |

^Regarding the point about YouTube, I agree those songs which are strongly mostly there are harder to predict given that daily updates will be posted two to three days after the actual date. Plus, as have been noted elsewhere, many times views are revised after the fact for certain songs.
